Worse experience I’ve ever had, placed an online order have 2 hours of waiting for delivery. Called this location which is about 5 mins from my home, spoke with “manager by the name of Mike”. I want rude just asked a status on our pizza, stayed his driver called once and left. (I didn’t have a missed call) fine I paid for delivery was told I had to pick it up “ok no problem” I also asked it’s been over an hour is the pizza going to be remade “mike” puts me on hold and gets back on the line and said yes it will and hung up. Called multiple time and call was routed to call center, agent at call center tells me if they hang up call again. I don’t understand how employees hanging up on a paying customers that just had a few questions is expected.yet when you call your recording state you thrive for excellent customer service! I was able to get transferred back to location asked for a manager and it “mike” again. So I asked how long it would be for my pizza? Mike didn’t answer me only said yes! Being very rude! Yet his service was to place me on hold get back on the line and say yes again. I asked for a refund at this point and this “manager Mike” went head and hung up again in my face. Called the customer service number to get told I can’t file a complaint against the manager. I would understand if I was rude but to all of this I wasn’t rude or disrespectful. Will never order again from a Papa Johns my first and last time!!!!!! Get better...
Read moreI'm not giving the 5 stars due to prolonged delivery times in excess of 2 hours.
First off, the cooks at this location are the best. This location really knows how to make a great pizza. However, if you order delivery, you can wait in excess of 90 minutes for a pizza. On multiple occasions, if not all the times I have ordered, they have failed to deliver my pizza in a reasonable amount of time. Funny thing is, I am a mystery shopper and have done several mystery shops for this location on Alta Mere. Even though mystery shopping reimburses me for photos and a short survey, it is very fustrating to have to wait 90-120 minutes for you to recirec a pizza. I have called the location the last time my pizza was late and they mailed me an apilapo postcard and said they could do better and gave me a promo code for a free pizza. Funny thing however was that after waiting for well over an hour and a half for delivery, I called the location and they said it was ready and hadn't left the store yet. They told me if I picked up the pizza I could have it for free. I told them the pizza already was free, because they took forever on my previous order to deliver, and then went to the location and picked it up myself. I always tip $6+change on every delivery, but sometimes I don't think they deserve a tip at all as late as they deliver. Rant over.

The pizza was excellent but the same cannot be said about the garlic knots, they were so rock hard you could've used them for target practice and the seasoning was in a greasy puddle soaking through the box.
And I don't know what happened to the consistency of their garlic dipping sauce, not very impressed with it.
Plus the driver an older gentleman looking like the Cryptkeeper with a Vincent Price goatee who has a major attitude problem, Wasn't too happy about the tip, grumbling and calling me a CHEAPSKATE under his breath as he walked away.
In my 30-plus years in working customer service, you never speak to a customer like that ever and should be grateful to have a job and accept whatever tips they can afford.
If he had spoken that way at a high end pizza restaurant this crotchety old fool would've been shown the door immediately.
I've escalated this complaint to corporate and hope they do something about it.
I'll give them 2 stars for effort, But there is major room for...
