Drummers Inn — Hotel in Fort Worth

I had never been there. When my good homeboy was released from Tarrant County a couple of months ago, I picked him up and he needed to go by there to pick up the clothes he had left in someone's room. Long story short, I dropped him off there and then went to work. After work I went back to the motel to pick him up. When I pulled in, I parked my car in the back because I needed to put some power steering fluid in. Not even a full 60 seconds later about 5 squad cars pulled in and probably close to 10 officers get out of these vehicles and approach me. Mind you I have just gotten off work after a very long shift so I'm already stressed out and all I wanted to do is put the power steering fluid in and get him in the car to leave. These officers literally harassed me for probably close to two hours maybe an hour and a half. They told me that a girl had been shot there about a month-and-a-half before this yada yada yada and how it's a well-known drug Hotel they asked me if I have anything on me I say no I pull out my pockets put everything I own on the ground that I had on me there was no female officer there but they still went through my pockets and stuff when they found out I had nothing they asked if they could search the vehicle and I said no you may not you have no reason to do so I don't understand why I'm still being harassed. Anyways they were delaying me and bullshiting me so they could bring a drug dog after I refuse to let them search the vehicle and the drug dog ran around my car for about 20 minutes and then finally after it was all said and done they told me that I should probably stay away from that place and never come back and I said okay thank you for harassing me about it that hotel is hot as f* and it's dangerous and if you feel like being harassed by the police go ahead...

Michelle the manager, her mom Christine and Ishmael, Michelle's husband run the motel. My husband and I have stayed here over 10 times in 26 years. It has changed so much. No more loud music, parties, tenants and visitors hanging out in the parking lot. Everything was in working order. They remodeled most of the rooms and they are very nice. I could write a book on here on how great they were to us. This is the ONLY motel that we will ever stay in if we have to return. Our last stay was about 4 months and they became family to us. Yes, Drummers are strict on their hotel rules and have eliminated about 98% of the riff raff that was previously there. We truly love Michelle and her family... Kids too, so much. They are the kindest people you'll ever meet. We miss y'all so much already and have only been gone 4 days ❤️💙. We hope y'all have a wonderful...

We have been staying at the 'New Drummers Inn" for sometime. Not more than 3 or 4 days at a time. Never any problems, things are much better since the new owners have remodeled. But today we encountered a slight problem. My fixed income check was late getting to me bank. We paid a small amount and asked would it be alright if we brought the rest in a little bit. Tha girl at the desk said it would. By the time I got to the bank and back the lady at the desk charged me a $10 late fee. Well that does it for us.our business goes elsewhere now. If the owners knew, I'm sure it would be different. Average staying about 10 days a month. No more though, because of the $10 amount I was charged. Not very...
