Do not come to this class if you want to learn how to cook. You’ll just sit there and watch the instructor do most of the work and switch on and off doing little tasks with a big group of people. The most we did in our group was knead pasta and put it through a rolling machine and toss a salad.
For $150 You’re better off saving your money for a nice restaurant and watching a tutorial on YouTube.
I have no idea how much of what Ingredients were put into any of our food, and we came out of this class none the wiser. Other cooking classes I’ve attended gives everyone a printed recipe at the end of the class, at this one they said they’ll send it in 48 hrs. The least they could do is have it ready by the end of class. This is a great team building exercise but it’s not a cooking class for someone that actually wants to learn hands on.
I’m happy that everyone put 5 star reviews but that was not our experience in this class. Honestly came...

My husband and I went for a date night and we were with people (who we did not know) who drank a ton, and were loud. They talked over the chef and hoarded the bottles of wine. We also didn’t realize it was communal cooking. 16 people all did tiny parts of cooking the meal and everything was already all pre measured. I can’t say it was a pleasurable experience. We didn’t learn anything because we couldn’t hear and it also was clearly not set up to be a learning experience. For $125 per person, I would say your money is better spent on a place where the food is cooked by professionals, not strangers who are half listening and drunk. If you want to learn to cook, you’re better off watching YouTube tutorials at home and spending your money on nice...
