Summer Moon Coffee — Restaurant in Fort Worth

Atmosphere: 🌲🏕️Warm, bright, and inviting summer camp vibes. White walls with dark wood accents.

Parking: ✅Street parking available (parallel parking may be needed, but when we went on a week day there was plenty of space). No payment needed.

Price transparency: ✅ Prices clearly posted. Additional flavor syrups not posted, but available if you ask

Music: 🎶Quiet pop/folk music playing in the background with lyrics. Quieter than other shops in the area (at least in the loft it’s not very loud).

Outlets: ✅ Readily available at many of the tables by the wall. Not necessarily easily accessible for tables in middle of space.

Internet: ✅ Free internet connection with no time limit, password required but clearly posted throughout shop

Temperature: 👌🏼A bit cold on the bottom level when I visited in August, but warmer in the loft. My preference is around 70-75, and I was comfortable in a light jacket on the top loft.

Tea drinks: 🙂 Limited options for tea drinks, but their chai is great and comes as either vanilla or spiced. Also have hot chocolate and bag tea options.

Reusable containers: ⚠️ sign at counter stating that reusable mugs are available upon request, but otherwise you are given a disposable cup

Seating: ⚠️A good amount of seating space, but the smaller tables are a bit cramped for 2 laptops. Some larger tables are present, but were occupied when we visited.

Other: Employees were helpful overall. There was a mistake in my friend’s order—she requested a 16 oz iced drink and received a smaller hot drink, but mistakes happen.

☕️ One of the best spots for coffee in Fort Worth! Summer Moon Coffee is located off of South Main Street in Fort Worth, TX and serves a delicious "summer moon" coffee in a welcoming environment. Highly recommend checking out their merch and coffee bean selection! Staff is friendly, knowledgable, and welcoming! 🌙

Coffee: I ordered the "Summer Moon" coffee with full sweetness and it did not disappoint. For some it may be a bit sweet, and they offer different levels of their moon milk that fits to your taste. I enjoyed my order in a hefty medium sized mug. I ordered the Glowing Ember beans along with one of the large brown mugs, and I'm excited to try it on my Aeropress and Kalita Wave at home.

Service: Top service to the staff. As soon as I came in, they were attentive and welcomed me in. When it came time to order, they were patient and kind. At pick up, I asked about the history of the company as I saw they originated from Austin, Texas, and the barista was knowledgeable about the company answering every question I had.

Atmosphere: Plenty of seating with different arrangements which helps with different sized parties. I noted quite a few tables for two and four people, which is great for people who come to meet with others over coffee or to get work done. There's also a good amount of seating that caters to larger parties without having to rearrange the seating. There is seating inside, outside, and upstairs.

Good - staff is awesome , ambiance is great . Convenience parking at the back if you do not find road side parking , door access from back parking as well , I parked in back and was super easy to get in . Staff welcomes , place is clean , crowed is mostly students , Seatings are plenty , clean table and upstairs stating as well . Service is fast . Barista is well mannered . I complained about my coffee and they offered replacement coffee that was okey because by then my mood was shut off .

Staff is super best part of this business , Hi5 . Ambiance is very good Hi5 .

Bad - They have made up name in coffee like summer moon and half summer moon , guess what it is ? one is extremely sweet and half is half sweet of first one but too sweet as well . It tastes like chocolate milk with less of chocolate , watery , funny not like coffee at all , coffee place main coffee is not a coffee but odd tasting Mochaish kind of sweet milkish , nope thanks .

We brunch inside,order food that came in paper grocery bag , no plates available . Wanted to cut my croissant but no folk or spoon in cutlery section .

Water tap is fast with high pressure and flimsy cups , combination is kind of iffy , avoid .

Place is pricy , like star bugs and coffee is not even like some good gas station .

Coffee of a coffee place is bad , negative marking.

Need a good coffee go some where else , need a fancy coffee place , must go .
