MT Nails & Spa — Local services in Fortville

(Before reading review My nails are the pink and teal ones with 4 pics I added 1 of what I asked for and 3 of what I got.)

Review- When me and my friend first walked in super clean super relaxing. I was excited then it all started from there, I asked the owner if she has someone who knows how to do really good design she said everyone can, I then proceeded to show a picture of what I was wanting, she tried to tell me the picture I showed her are 400 $ nails (they are not I'll add picture below and I also got it priced by 3 in home nail techs and one other public nail spa, Everywhere else i priced these nails they said between 95 to 100) anyways she said we do similar not exactly but similar I agreed okay. The girl who did my nails seemed extremely sweet but ignored all of my questions I asked her or maybe she didn't hear me but pretty sure I was ignored due to I asked several times the same question and other questions multiple times as well. they price my nails at first 130 I said okay thats fine. Then when almost done when i asked for a nail to be a specific way she added 5 more dollars onto my total when i had already told her from the beginning this is how i wanted it. The shape I asked for was coffin she made my nails so thick and bulky I was so disappointed then the ombre they did was completely wrong did the ombreing itself super weird never had it done this way before. She claims she's done nails for 10 + years, Some of my gems fell off same day I left then I also already had a nail come off and it's only been a week since I have gotten them done I normally don't have issues until about 2 and a half weeks to 3 weeks I'm just over all disappointed with my visit not to mention my friend got simple nails with a couple flowers on 4 of her nails they said her nails would of only been 40 without the flowers the proceeded to charge her 5 a finger on the fingers that had flowers and they were horrible didn't even look like flowers pedals didn't connect or anything. This place is horrible rude over charges and does the cheapest job and quickest way possible to get you done and out they don't care how it looks. The first time (a couple years ago) I went they cut up my cuticles during an acrylic fill in with a drill. And then drilled so hard on my real nail it WENT THROUGH my nail to the nail bed and I had to go on antibiotics so I wouldn’t get an infection and get my nails removed. This week my friend wanted to go get her nails done so we booked a week in advance for 4 people. We arrived and every seat was filled and it looked like they had just started on them. They started on everyone different times and it took them almost an hour to get to two of us without communicating what was going on or apologizing for the wait. They obviously took the walk ins instead. When they got to my pedicure the lady kept hounding me to get gel after telling her MULTIPLE times I did not want it. Then her tone changed the whole time and she rushed the process completely. I will not be back.

Edit: very displeased with the lack of accountability taken in the reply. No communication was happening as the appointments went on. And to add I am not comparing a pedicure to a full set as I know the process in that. The process of the pedicure as a whole felt rushed. I lived in Fortville for 10 years and always had to travel a distance to get my nails and toes done. Finally MT Nails opened a nail salon In Fortville! I was very excited. I immediately made a appointment, upon arrival the salon was clean and beautiful inside. The staff and owners were very friendly, welcoming and made you feel comfortable. Best beauty experience I have ever had. 2 years ago I moved from Fortville, but I’m willing to drive to the salon to get my nails and toes done it’s worth it! Recently I went and received a pedicure and acrylic nails. The technician that did my nails was new that day her name was VY. VY did an exceptional job she was quick, friendly and made sure I was completely happy! And I was! If you haven’t been to the salon it’s a must go to!!
