If you buy furniture from Jerome's, I strongly suggest you avoid the extended warranty protection. My wife and I spent almost 10k on furniture from here after we completed our home remodel. One of the items we purchased was a sectional couch and we added the warranty coverage. The only reason why we added it was because the salesman specifically told us that the warranty covered pet damage.

Approximately one year after we purchased the couch, my family and I went out of state on vacation. While we were gone, our house sitter, who's extremely overweight, sat down on the couch too hard and broke a board inside one of the recliner sections. At first, I could understand how she broke the section. But in the months following this incident I've noticed the couch has been rapidly deteriorating. It's obvious that the material quality is subpar. The same week she broke the couch, she also left our puppy in the house too long unattended. The puppy chewed a corner of one section. Nothing major. My mother in law was eventually able to sew it up and now it's barely noticeable.

About a week after we returned from vacation (2 weeks after the damage occurred) I called Jerome's to report the damage and file a warranty claim. It took them another 2 weeks to review and process the claim. We ultimately received a call from a service rep. The rep started the conversation by telling my wife that the warranty does not cover pet damage. He then proceeded to tell her that since we "waited too long" to file the claim, and also because we reported multiple damages at once, our claim was denied and the warranty for the ENTIRE couch, including the remaining unaffected sections, was void. So even though Jerome's doesn't cover pet damage, they still used the pet damage claim as us making "multiple claims" simultaneously, and ripped is off for several hundred dollars that we paid for the warranty protection.

I recommend staying away from Jerome's in general. There are plenty of better furniture stores you can shop at. You might pay a little more upfront, but you're going to save a lot more in the long run by not having to replace the shotty furniture Jerome's sells. There is no way we will ever shop at any Jerome's ever again. All because they had to be cheap and save themselves a couple...

My mother and father-in-law were looking for a recliner that would be comfortable and supportive for him, especially since he’s tall and recovering from both prostate cancer and spinal surgery. Finding something that truly fits those needs isn’t easy, but the team at Jerome’s made the entire experience effortless.

They originally purchased a recliner that unfortunately didn’t end up being the right fit long-term. It was still under warranty, so they decided to return it — and I have to say, the process could not have been smoother. There was no hassle, no pressure, no runaround. The staff simply wanted to understand what wasn’t working and how they could help.

When it became clear that the original model just wasn’t ideal, Erica, the manager, went above and beyond to make it right. She treated my in-laws with genuine care, professionalism, and patience, ensuring they felt heard, respected, and supported every step of the way. Her kindness and dedication were truly refreshing — it’s rare these days to find someone who actually cares about the people they’re helping.

We’ve visited other comparable furniture stores, and the customer service simply didn’t come close to what we experienced at Jerome’s. The staff here took their time explaining the different recliner options, pointing out features that might better suit someone taller or with back concerns. And beyond the outstanding service, Jerome’s prices were also very competitive — offering great value without compromising quality or care.

UPDATE 2 Spoke with someone from customer service (Debbie) who was so kind and understanding. She made a call and is taking care of the problem. I believe this to be a Fountaon Valley location issue as I suspected. Just bad representation of what seems to be a decent company.

First they forgot my bed at the doc on original delivery date. Told it would now arrive Wednesday but then they moved it to Saturday. This is now almost 3 weeks ago that I actually paid them for the bed. I will say they did refund my delivery fee and added assembly. I was fine at this point.

Second when they finally arrived the drivers were so rude and just left the box with out assembly that was to be included for the first mistake. Now I'm upset. Tried reaching out with no response.

Third my sweet house sitter (I've been out of town for all if this) put the bed together for me to find out it's not the size I ordered. I was done at this point.

I never received any response to any of the issues after the first. Finally got someone on the phone who said they don't call because they like everything to be in writing. They also said I would have to wait another 5 days before anything could be done.

As you can see from their response they don't care and are extremely condescending. All I want to know is why this all happened and why I am being treated as if I have done something wrong. Why do I have to work around their schedule to fix their mistake.

We recently bought a beautiful dining room table and leather chair with Ottoman. Michael was the sales representative, and he was fantastic. Very friendly, professional, honest, honesty goes along way. The furniture was delivered a few days after we bought it, even though I was quoted a few weeks. So that was a lovely surprise. I thought there was a scuff on my table so after emailing customer service, simply asking that one of their furniture experts come out and look at it, instead, they offered to replace the table for free. Wow! It ended up not being anything, I was able to use some wood oil and once I polished the table, everything was perfect. Buying furniture is a big deal. You’re committing to a long-term ownership, and depending on your lifestyle, a conversation piece. I really appreciate Michael listening to what I was looking for, there was no pressure, he simply showed me around the store and let me peacefully browse, coming back occasionally to see if I had any questions. I didn’t feel rushed or pressured. Thank you Michael. Update: I’ve had the dining room table for seven months now. It has water damage and the wood is bubbling. The manufactures warranty is a bogus. Jerome’s customer service center basically shrugged their shoulders and told me it’s not their problem. The manufacturers warranty was a huge part of their selling pitch. All lies.

Barely ok. a 2.5 really. Sales people wont waste a second to pounce on you at the door. But if they screw your order up you will be on hold, wont get a phone call, wont get a returned email. I bought a simple ottoman and when the wrong fabric arrived on it I called customer service. I didnt know which color or fabric because my girlfriend picked it out. So when she found out she was very angry. I sent pics to Irma and didnt get a response. I was put under fire and accused of being wrong. Had to go back and forth with James. Finally am hoping to get a new one today tomorrow, about a week later. When a customer says there is a mistake, make sure you believe them. Uncle Jerry should be very upset. Its not my fault YOU SENT THE WONG ITEM! Edit 8/13 1146am ****Switched my review to a 2 because this the 2nd time they screwed up the delivery. Owner response provided after 2nd time wrong ottoman delivered. Im calling Uncle Jerry. I dont think this is the delivery persons fault - I think that there is a warehouse skew issue or mislabeled box! Also-Floor model has way better padding. Sit very comfortably on the showroom but this delivery is junk!!!Look at the indent, it’s warped!

Prior to that , Armando my sales man sent me the wrong couch . Then he shoved me to Jeremy who was useless . He shoved me to Harry who took information which I went to see him in the store in person . He promised to get back and I never heard back and when I called the next day he was off for the week. I then spoke to Irma who was rude . I didn’t three frustrating days trying to get my correct sofa that Armando made the mistake . After emailing customer service and got no reply back. I then searched another number and finally got hold of Erica who finally fixed the problem and sent me the correct sofa. Worse experience ever . I will never shop there again

To be honest I had the worst experience buying a couch and rug . This is the first time I shopped at Jerome . I normally go to living spaces for years. But I saw a commercial and you had 80 perfect off so I took it upon myself to shop on line . It was horrible ! Thank God I finally spoken to Erica who fixed the problem .
