Ok guys buckle up, this may have been an off day but here it goes. My mom called to make our appointment and asked for prices for her to get a lobe re-piercing and a daith for me. She even asked how much it would be for me to get both sides done and she was told $65. When we arrived everything was ok but my piercer wasnt seeming confident cause i have small ears. (I knew anatomy might be an issue this is not my first piercing ) So we decided to just do my larger ear only. My mom went first and the piercer created a new hole inside of using her existing closed hole. And when it was my turn it hurt so i yelled and she stopped halfway through. I had to tell her to keep going. Then my ear filled with blood. I was like is it normal for my ear to be ringing? Then her bookshelf lamp fell on my head just as i put my hands over my face. She had to call her mom over to help her put it back up. Then she put my jewelry in and the clamp that was holding the ball slipped and snapped in my ear. Finally i sat up and all that blood rushed out of my ear. When i got home i had a large blood clot in my ear from it just sitting against my eardrum for so long. All of this and we still had to pay the full $65 for mine and full price for my moms and we only got a discount on the saline spray cause we used a coupon… sorry for the long review it was a wild ride. They are healing well now though it has...
Read moreGET A 2ND OPINION AND OR GO TO ANOTHER SHOP I came to The Glory Hole to get my earlobes pierced for my birthday. (July) It was a simple piercing nothing complicated and the initial process went smoothly. However, after about 4 months, the holes started closing up very quickly, even though I had been wearing other earrings in between. (Oct 25th - Nov 1) When I tried to put earrings back in, they were painful to insert and clearly closing fast. I called the shop to explain the situation and asked if they could re-pierce them, especially since I’ve spoken with multiple professional piercers, shop owners, and friends who all agreed that after 6–8 weeks, properly done earlobe piercings should be healed enough to switch earrings safely. They also agreed that in this case, the shop should’ve offered a free re-pierce (which I was still willing to tip $25–$30 for). Unfortunately, the staff insisted I was in the wrong and that I needed to wait 6 months before changing jewelry which goes against what every other reputable source has told me. I found their attitude unprofessional and dismissive, which is disappointing because I was planning to come back for more piercings in the future. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this location. I’d suggest going elsewhere or at least getting a second opinion from a more experienced and...
