Went there for dinner, 2 adults and 1 child. Not too busy at the time we showed up, the manager is the one that sat us and told us the waiter will be with us shortly. And that was the last time I saw the manager, i guess he got off after he sat us. There seemed to be only 3 waiter/staff there dealing with the everyone in the place. From taking orders, cleaning tables, sitting people, printing out checks, brining food to the tables and drinks. It was a mess and they really need to hire more people, its not fair to the wait staff. We waiting a very long time to get our food, which was a bowl of mac and cheese and 2 omelets. Its been a while since I have eaten a omelet, so I was confused when I started eating mine. Did the meaning of an omelet change? Because what I got was a egg that was folded 3 times over and everything I thought went inside the omelet was just messily thrown on top of the egg, it was more like scrabbled eggs without the scrabble. The toast that came with my wife's "omelet" was hard as a rock and nasty. I had to wait over 10 minutes after asking for a refill for my soda.
As we sat there waiting for our meal, we saw a few families come in and leave due to no one being at the main counter to meet and seat them.
The little staff they had were running around trying their best, but also getting upset with each other. At one point the assist manger told one of the wait staff to "STOP PUTTING IN ORDERS" what the hell is he supposed to do, that was crazy to me.
For what we got, it shouldn't have taken almost an hour.
They need to hire a lot more people. They need to work on their team building. The managers need to treat the staff with respect. The cook needs to learn how to cook.
We go to other Ihops, they are further away, but way better. We to this same location 2 years ago and the only reason why we went again was because we were mailed a coupon for buy one meal get one free. Most likely we will not go back to this location, ether we just have very poor timing and also dine there at their worst or they place just...
Read more4.1 Star's? Ha! Savery your money and eat elsewhere!!! After about 8 month's or so of not eating here, due TO HORRIBLE service, I decided to give it another shot. My son loves IHOP, so do I, however was greatly disappointed....AGAIN. They were not busy. The waitress never asked us for a refill. My son sat there with an empty cup for probably 15 mins. I kept trying to get her attention, but she kept ignoring us. So I refilled his cup using my drink. Thenot when our food arrived it was disgusting. His grilled cheese was more like a cheese sandwich, not melted. His French fries looked like someone spilled the shaker of seasoning salt all over them. WAY too heavily seasoned. And, on my Colorado omlet, it looked like someone has chewed up the meat, then spit it out and out it on top covered by cheese. Horrible experience. When I brought this to the waitresses attention, and mind you, at THIS point, I'vs been sitting there waiting for a refill as well for around 30 mins. Anyhow, her only response was "Oh yea well I can throw the fries in the fryer again for a few seconds, that usually removes all the seasoning off of them." I told her not never mind. I also brought up his grilled cheese, and she offered to MICROWAVE IT! WAIT, WHAT?!! First off, it's a grilled cheese how do you screw that up by NOT MELTING THE CHEESE?!?! By this pointI fuming mad. I got up to leave and spoke to the manager. I had to tell them where I sat because my bill was never brought to me. I told her the issue'so showed her pics that I took. Told her we didn't even eat a quarter of the meal....oh and btw, the toast was so laden with "butter", meaning butter flavored oil my son couldn't pick it up to eat it without it dribbling on the table and him! Well we didn't pay and left. Never will return. This ihop has been given more chances by my family than they deserve. Horrible food, horrible service. Save your money...
Read moreI went here on Labor Day and had a few issues and talked to a manager just to inform them of the issues because we have been to that location multiple times and had great experiences, and she apologised and said things were changing because she just took over the store and offered us meal tickets to come back and try again. We said fine (we were not trying to get anything for free but saw it as a nice gesture). She said it would be mailed to us and after realizing almost 2 weeks had gone by (we live a little over a mile away) and we had not got it, we called spoke to someone who said she mailed it and to give it a few more days. We did and sure enough nothing. So my husband called and the GM told us just to come in and she'd take care of it. So we went and took my husband's brother today knowing only 2 of the meals were comped and were fine paying for him and anything extra we got. Thats when things really went south. Started with the 2 girls in the front chatting while we waited and clearly their gossip about a co-worker was more important then the customers waiting. Then I got my regular t-bone with hash browns and my husband and his brother for what they wanted. My t-bone was undercooked, my brother in laws bacon omelette was missing BACON and my husband's food had hair in the eggs. I'm not trying to nitpick but that was bad. So our food came back out at different times and we really did not even get to eat our food together because if we waited for everyone to get their food back everyone else's would be cold. Knowing we were really not happy this time they comped the meal and I admit it was nice but when I go out to eat in not fishing for free stuff. I want a nice meal that I don't have to cook or clean up after. I get it's IHOP it's not a 5 star restraint but I've had better service...
