THE WORST EVER. BUYER BEWARE! They would get zero stars if it were possible. Russell Cellular is a dishonorable business with despicable business practices. They have repeatedly lied to both myself and a good friend of mine, who has been with Verizon for over twelve years. They made multiple promises that they never honored and charged us well over twice what our plan total was supposed to be for three months in a row. After months of requests and hours on the phone, they refused to honor the offer made to us, when adding an additional line to the account. We were told that the new phone (as advertised in the promotion) would be free, then added charges for it in the next three billing cycles.
Because the manager tried to get us what was promised to us, they forbade him to assist us any further. What's more.....We were promised a check as a show of good faith that was never delivered. After three months of being run around, lied to and put off, we've had enough.
One thing has become glaringly clear. The folks at Russell Cellular do not deserve our business. Regrettably, after a dozen years of showing loyalty, we are leaving them for another...

   Read moreTook me 7 hours to get a new iPhone 16e activated and set up on June 14. It should have been no more than an hour. A nightmare.
This was NOT the fault of the store employee I dealt with. The real fault was on the Verizon side. One Verizon-inspired technical difficulty and excuse after another substantially impeded the process.
Evidently however, Russell Cellular which owns and runs the Verizon badged store, has policies that prohibit its store manager from compensating dissatisfied customers for such annoyance, inconvenience and aggravation with any complimentary phone accessories or otherwise. This only made matters worse.
It was a miserable experience I'll not soon forget. I should have walked out or switched to a different carrier altogether.
Again not the fault of the store manager but it's not good that Russell Cellular corporate policy apparently tied his hands from trying to make anything better a Verizon customer treated...
