The rooms are cute and spacious. Beds are comfy. Staff is friendly.
Location: a bit of a drive to the heart of Sedona action w limited restaurant options on that end of town. - go to Clarks and get food to have in the room. Just in case.
Las Posadas is a cute place to stay overall. My only real disappointment was the breakfast. We paid for each day to have on site breakfast which I read in reviews was made to order by a chef on site. This is true.
There is a small building on site where breakfast is served by on site chefs, made to order with fresh ingredients - all centered around eggs. Eggs made in different ways every day. There are no options at breakfast. You get the egg dish that the chef is making or nothing at all. There is some cereal but I think we paid for a bit more than cereal.
Now I know people love eggs. I do every once in a while but not every single morning.
The food is considered southwestern I guess...I just didn't like that I had basically no options other than what they wanted me to eat. I wanted desperately to go across the street to Mileys for breakfast but we felt trapped because we had paid a nice fee for breakfast on site so we didn't want to waste that spend.
If we ever go back to Sedona I might stay at Las Posadas but absolutely will never get the breakfast again.
Additional note on breakfast: The chefs at breakfast never wear gloves or hairnets. I see no sign of any hand washing going on. That made breakfast even more unenjoyable because i wondered what I was eating.
The guy who runs the kitchen has a loud sports car that he drives through the middle.of the property at about 645 so that messes up any quiet peace you were enjoying on your vacation. Loud and rumbly nice and early for all patrons to enjoy.
Lastly Sedona is a "dark city" DO NOT pull in at night. There are no street lights and las posadas is super dark. I could barely see where to park and had to use my phone light to get around. It's a nice thought but hard to get used to and navigate in.
Overall? Sure, stay there - rooms are cute and comfy. but pay extra for a top floor room w a view and do not get the breakfast unless you like eggs...

After an Airbnb canceled on me with zero notice, I had to book something last minute so my daughter and I wouldn’t lose our Sedona getaway. Las Posadas of Sedona completely saved us—and honestly, gave us one of the most beautiful, stress-free experiences I’ve ever had at a hotel.
From the first phone call, their team went above and beyond. I asked if we could check in early, and without hesitation, they accommodated us at 2:15 PM instead of 4—no extra fees, no attitude, just kindness. That kind of service is rare.
Jessica at the front desk was phenomenal. She treated us like family, not just guests. Later that night, she helped us with s’mores and made it a fun, memorable experience for my daughter and me—one I’ll never forget. Her energy alone made the stay special.
The room was spotless and gorgeous, with a cozy fireplace and a peaceful atmosphere that helped me truly relax. The pool and hot tub were perfect—the water was just the right temp, super clean, and the sauna was an unexpected luxury. We felt like we were at a resort.
Parking was easy, the grounds were well-kept, and honestly, every single thing just fell into place. My only (tiny) complaint was not being able to unlock the patio door—but it didn’t take away from how amazing everything else was.
If you’re looking for a place that truly cares, that makes you feel welcome, that turns a stressful situation into a blessing—book here. You won’t regret it. We will always be staying at this hotel every time we...
Read moreThis hotel was so beautiful! The two of us stayed for 3 nights in a suite. We had a beautiful view of the red rocks and our patio backed up to a walking path with plenty of greenery. We were just two doors down from the breakfast room, but had no trouble with traffic or anything. There's waterfalls placed all around the hotel grounds which creates such a soothing atmosphere. Our room was much bigger than I anticipated. We had a living room, gas powered fireplace, kitchenette, large bedroom, huge bathroom with double sinks, and two patios, the larger of which was very relaxing.
We only had breakfast at the hotel once, but it was delicious! My only complaint is that breakfast starts late and doesn't last very long. We live on the east coast, so we were up pretty early every day, but breakfast only lasted from 8-9:30 AM which I felt was just too late. We were already out hiking/ getting on with our day by that point. I had a friend staying at the same hotel who lives in Phoenix and even she thought that was a bit late for a hotel breakfast.
I do suggest requesting an upper floor room if you can, someone checked into the room above ours very late on our first night and you could hear every foot step, every time they flushed the toilet, and for some reason they vacuumed a few times. We just kept the AC fan running constantly all night to drown out their noise and it was fine.
Overall, this hotel was beautiful, away from the craziness of Sedona, and worth...
