The rooms were nice and comfy, but the staff are unprofessional and not trustworthy.
We came in after making a reservation on Booking.com. We accidentally put 2 adults instead of 3. (My wife, my self, & out 15 yr old) We also had 2 kids under 12, but were told before that kids always stay for free.
Upon checking in, I told the gentleman at the front desk (Employee A) that we did indeed have a third person. He said that normally they are supposed to charge, but he will waive the fee.
Cut to— 2 hours later, he calls my room & asks to speak with me at the front desk. I go to speak with him & he mentions the other ppl with me. I assume he is talking about the children & also assume that I misunderstood about kids being free. He stated that $50 will be taken out of my security deposit due to the extra guests. Being as it is later in the evening, there wasn’t much else to do, so I agreed.
The next morning, I go to check out & the lady at the desk (Employee B) mentioned the charge & I said yes, I knew about it & that I was under the impression that kids are free, which is why I didn’t mention them originally. She said that kids ARE free and that I was being charged for another adult. I said that he originally told me that he was going to waive that fee. I don’t know if he changed his mind or what. After a little back and forth of giving me a run around of reasons, I realized there was no point in arguing, and headed on my way.
1 hour later, I get a call from the hotel. I answered & was hopeful that they would be calling to do the right thing and not charge me for the extra adult fee that I was(originally) told would be waived. No. Employee B called to tell me that she called Employee A and he said that he never said that. He also said that we had 5 adults in that room & he was doing us a favor by only charging $50…. WHAT?!?! So, now I not only am still getting charged, but now the hotel is harassing me AFTER I left the property and accepted the fact that I would be charged.

Read moreHad to dispute the next day. He canceled my reservation but still took the money. Got an email this morning saying my payment had processed. Having to jump through hoops. He flat out called me a liar for having a service animal. Flat out refused, raised his voice on the phone with Priceline… Priceline had to tell him 4 times to give me back my phone. Absolutely HUMILIATED. ALL OF US THAT HAVE BEEN DENIED FOR HAVING A SERVICE ANIMAL SHOULD FILE A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT. THIS MAN DELIBERATELY BROKE THE LAW AND DISCRIMINATED AGAINST ME FOR HAVING A SERVICE ANIMAL. PLEASE DO SEND ME A MESSAGE AND LETS SUE THIS OWNER FOR DISCRIMINATION… then he gets on here and replies saying they’ll look into it. This is how he gets away with discriminating against the ADA and those with disabilities. Humiliating experience. I am traveling for work, we can’t get permits until after the first of the year so I’m stuck… used Priceline to book my room. Arrived at the property and told him I had two service animals. First one I’ve had for almost 8 years. She is my hearing animal. Lost my hearing due to sicca syndrome. Three years after that, i was diagnosed with systemic sicca and my auto functions such as heart rate and sugar have become an issue. The hearing service dog was not trained for this and have a service dog for this. I travel and stay in motels 10 months out of the year. He flat out basically called me a liar. I’m jumping through hoops trying to get my room canceled and he’s steadily on the phone … I see him saying my name on the phone and he’s aggravated and raising his voice. I’m sitting here shaking because I’m on hold with Priceline trying to cancel. I mean it’s $201 a night here… and it says “processing” on my business card. Both of my dogs are highly, specifically trained. I’m absolutely embarrassed. My service animals allow me to still work and provide for my entire family. Not recommended. When you read reviews, sort them as lowest first, you’ll see very quickly that this isn’t the...
Read moreBy far the best deal around. We went in October and it was looking like we would have to choose between an affordable dump or an insanely expensive hotel. Luckily we found this place. It isn't cheap like a motel 6 or anything but it was the best value. Pros: best price in town while still being a nice room Comfy bed Fireplace in King suite Air filter Messaging shower head Free breakfast ( waffles, bagels, yogurt, etc) Indoor and outdoor dinning area Good views Front desk was genuinely helpful and kind Well decorated, even the shower curtain was velvet. Mini fridge Microwave Flat screen Free WiFi Large room and huge bathroom Hot tub and pool available Gave us lots to towels and what not Jacuzzi tub in King suite
Cons: The placement of outlets is weird. Like, why is there an outlet near the floor next to the bath tub. Seems safe, right? The beautiful pictures in the bathroom kept falling off the walls. Needed more garbage cans and in better placements Some of the clothes hangers were broken The bottom drawer of the TV stand dresser had a stick with screws or nails taped on it like some kinda beating stick? The bedspread is so ugly. Why ruin a gorgeous room with a mustard & marigold bedspread,? Door only has one lock. Most places offer a deadbolt plus chain but no chain here. There also was nothing on the back of the door explaining our nearest exits or fire extinguishers. I'm not even sure it's legal not to provide that info.
But I would stay here again in a heartbeat and highly recommend it to everyone as well. We stayed in the king suite for 4 days and paid about $470. Obviously it's gonna be cheaper without the jacuzzi etc. It was quiet every night and we slept...
