Summary: Great internet, Extremely helpful/friendly staff, Comfortable seating, good social distancing IMO. Pastries are great as is the coffee. Lots choices on milk.
Wifi: This is a real thing in Sedona, so I will say that these guys passed with flying colors. If you need a stable wifi connection for work, this is your spot. Even when they were busier (I parked it there all day, as I'm a digital nomad), the connection was very stable.
Service: These are really the nicest the people. I arrived early morning after a hike and was out of battery on my cell. Staff was so sweet as to lend me their cord. They were so kind. Also, I had to pick my friend up off the trail, but come back 5 min after getting settled in with my coffee. Staff put up a reserved sign so I could come back and work as a just in case they got busy.
Location: They are in a super convenient location near Bell Rock. If you're working and want to send your teens off to hike and then pick them back up, this is a great spot to do your work, if you hotel doesn't have great stable wifi. They did a good job keeping the tables 6ft apart. and people are pretty respectful with their social distances.
Coffee: I really enjoyed my coffee. I'm not super picky, but my friend is and she was also happy. She's also one of those people who has all the special milks and sugars, which they had.
Pastries: There were really some great yummy pastry options. They don't have a meaningful lunch menu, so consider just working here in the morning through noon and moving on elsewhere.
Overall, these guys have won me over. I"ll def try to give them patronage whenever I...
Read moreChai? No, I was drinking Big Red gum! I am a regular chai drinker as coffee can be too bitter so when going to a new place chai is always a safe bet, so I thought. We went through the drive thru where they asked us to pull forward to wait, even though no one else was in the drive though. We waited so long that the person who wasn't even in the drive though when we moved got their drink and was asking us to move. We moved to a parking spot and waited another 5 mins before finally going in to ask. All we ordered was an iced chai and iced latte, they were still working on it because they had to remake it? They had enough time to remake it 10x. I finally got it and drove away before tasting it. OMG I about died. I am not exaggerating when I say it was like drinking cinnamon gum! I was shocked because I usually get extra cinnamon at my normal place (I did not here, I ordered a chai latte with SF vanilla and Carmel). It was so bad I could barely sip on it, and as I was hoping to salvage this mess I ended up mixing 1/4 the chai with 1/2 the latte we also ordered. I was hoping to do half and half but luckily I decided to start with 1/4. The young lady working was very nice which is the only reason they got any bonus stars. No I wasn't able to return right away and complain to try and fix. There was no fixing that chai anyway. I'm hoping this was a fluke but as a visitor to Sedona, I don't plan to stop again to find out, too many other options. Also their large iced size is like a small at Starbucks...
Read moreThe cinnamon bun was okay. The cinnamon bunt was just, eh. My husband had a plain coffee and said it was okay. My latte wasn't anything special. I wanted to purchase some tea, and the barista let me have a smell of each blend. I settled on peach. The package was tagged $14.00, and it rang up at just over $23.00. I wasn't paying attention and let the charge go through. Once I realized it, a long line had gathered and I said pleas take care of your customers and we can address the overcharge once the cleared the line.(i didn't want to hold up a morning line needing caffeine!) Once the line died down I went back up to the counter. It was a different employee. I explained what happened and pointed out the young lady who had rung me up. (I didn't get a receipt, so it must've seemed sketch.) He figured out the difference and said, " This is a $23 bag, but we will honor the pricetag, this time." I didn't appreciate the condescending tone. It wasn't my fault the actual price tag on the bag said $14. (I didn't see one bag or box of tea that had a $23.00 price tag.) I then asked for a full refund because I didn't appreciate the attitude and accusing tone. I think he realized I was correct and gave me an $8 credit, and we went on our way. The place was clean and moderately busy for that late in...
