This organization claims to embrace the true teaching of Nichiren Daishonin yet, they slander; destroy property and has caused harm to many people and more despicable acts. They spread false information while demanding obedience to the priest IF you want to become happy.

They promote that its only through their approval one will become happy. I have heard them say specifically they activate the mandala that members receive; and only through this service one will gain benefit. They claim that their mandala is the only true one; but it needs to be activated by a priest.. ( with money of course) They expect obedient financial support.

This is NOT Nichiren Daishonin's Philosophy based on the Lotus Sutra. Which is what they claim to uphold.

The teachings of Nichiren, based on the Lotus Sutra empower people to Free themselves of the sufferings we encounter through a Practice NOT being obedient to ANY priest!

Absolutely love this Temple and the Chief Priest! Everyone is welcome to visit in person or attend the Sunday live-streams. I became a Nichiren Shoshu Buddhist because of this wonderful Priest and Temple. They saved my life when my doctor told me I had less than a year to live. That was a few years ago. And my rare medical syndromes have no cure and never improve, only worsen. Had a horrible experience here. Felt racially motivated I ran into issues mainly with the manager of the temple older Asain woman. There were quite a few times I was chanting and interrupted she deliberately created an uncomfortable environment for me. I also made the decision to no longer try and practice here.
