Edit: The fact that you still don't see that you messed up even after ups said it was YOUR FAULT. And are now arguing with me on MY REVIEW OFMY EXPERIENCE!!! GET REAL! I have the reference number from the conversation with UPS, if you would like to talk to them! BOTTOM LINE THIS PLACE IS A SCAM!!! AND YOU BROKE MY 100YR OLD LAMP!! OWN UP TO YOUR MISTAKES!!
GO TO UPS!! DO NOT USE THIS PLACE!!!!
I've used pack n ship all over the midwest for shipping items of all size and fragility. I buy a lot of antiques (mostly kerosene lamps at the moment). This is the first time I've ever had an issue. Honestly, I understand things happen. But what I don't understand is having a lack of accountability and responsibility. When I received my shipment, I found that whomever had started packing my stuff must have not been finished packing them. I say this because there was a smaller box inside the main box that was open like it was thrown in there. that box would of been for the lamp to be packed in, taped shut, then placed into the bigger box with bubble wrap and other packing materials to keep it from freely moving around in the bigger box damaging other items. It only had a (5 and a half hours or 381 miles away) trip. By being in that smaller box it would also prevent it from damaging the other many items that were in the bigger box. All in which are over 100yrs old. Obviously, I'm bummed out the lamp didn't make it. when I emailed them I was told it was a mishandling issue on UPS not the way it was packed and that a claim would need to be filed with them. The outside of the box doesn't have as much as a scuff on it. Inside there was just a few scraps of bubble wrap on top not even a full sheet pieces!!!. nothing else inside, no packing peanuts or air pillows to keep everything from being thrown around in the box. Let alone the shoes werent wrapped, when i mentioned this i was met with " theyre not damagable items" I paid 207.74 for this??!!! 20 DOLLARS FOR TAPE ALONE ROD!! I am just mind blown this is what I got and then told it wasn't their fault. I've shipped these kinda lamps multiple times and other more fragile ones (Victorian slag glass and hurricane) and didn't pay anything close to what I did here. I didn't mind because I had used pack and ship plus a few other times (in different states) All these items are well over a 100yrs years old, and when I had originally message him about the items he assured me that they all would be wrapped/packed carefully ESPECIALLY THE LAMP!! the shades were wrapped but the base font needed to come off as i had said in previous emails, instead it was left on. I've emailed them all the photo's, I messaged UPS which did confirm it would NOT be considered mishandling on UPS PART . Ive had to call and call with Rodney dodging my calls and having his employee tell me too bad here's 50 bucks. Then when he finally did call me I was told he would give me the 50 dollar refund or file the claim and going off on me that he was doing it outta his good graces. Like wow who talks to a customer like that especially when that customer has been more than polite and respectful towards you and your employee. I find it funny when I called to pay the lady said it was packed with extra love and care. This is your love and...
Read moreVery poor customer service. I ordered service from this company through an online vendor. Waiting in line I hear the owner say to the customer in front of me, "This is how it is every day at closing everyone wants to come in when we are about to close." Her assistant then offers the guy in front of me water, as though he is the only person in line waiting. I can only assume because he"looked" a certain way he was afforded this courtesy while I just getting off work in my dirty jeans and hoodie was basically yelled at for not understanding the rules governing how they process orders through their third party vendor. I simply wanted to know why I was being emailed certain information from pack n ship but the owner in her condescending loud tone basically had no patience to explain or even listen to any questions I had. I must say I was greatly disappointed in their service and would not use them again for any of my mailing or...
Read moreExtremely unprofessional and rude. I had a mailbox here through iPostal and would have to wait at least 10 minutes when picking up my mail. They were either on the phone handling personal matters or looking for my mail in 5 different places. They have double/triple charged me for duplicate mail and given me someone else’s mail.
The last straw was when I came in and the owner was on the phone paying a bill. He told me to wait while he continued speaking with the person on the phone. After 5 minutes I got on my phone to check the tracking of a package and he accused me of writing down his card number. Only then did he decide to stop what he was doing to give me my mail. Save your time, money, and sanity and go to...
