Toppers Pizza — Restaurant in Fox Point

Literally the worst pizza delivery experience I've had in awhile. Placed an order at 7pm. My daughter has a dairy allergy so tried to call to make sure they saw the note about no cheese and the allergy. Employee answered and could not confirm the request on my order. He then put me on hold and the call disconnected (or more likely he just hung up). Tried calling back and basically the call would connect after the automated message but would disconnect right away; like someone was just picking up the phone and immediately hanging it up.

I decided to wait for the pizza and just check it when the driver arrived. Delivery time was was suppose to be by 8:12pm. Called at 8:30 because when I tracked the progress, it said the pizza was still baking. I was informed that they were still making it and that they were really backed up because there was only one delivery driver. The employee said maybe another 30 minutes. Called back at 9:12 and after a couple tries, finally got someone on the phone. Supposedly the pizza was still baking and the driver had not returned. He basically then said that I would most likely not get the pizza until 10pm. I've got kids waiting so I just told him to cancel it. I work in the hospitality industry. I know times are tough with most restaurants suffering labor issues. But when a customer calls, at least pretend like you care and are sincerely sorry.

Also, if the store is so busy, customers should not be given an expected time of delivery that has no chance of being honored. I told him that maybe you wouldn't be so backed up if you informed customers it would take 3 hours to get the food. He told me they have no control over that which seems ridiculous. You just have one standard time of delivery no matter how buys you are! Anyway, I'm done with my rant. I normally do not leave negative reviews like this but frustration level is maxed out. Just ordered from this place and they had terrible customer service...after placing our order and giving our credit card we were told the it would be 1 to 1 and a half hours before our pizza would get delivered...should have told us before taking our money...but that's not the worse part.

2 hours went by and we still haven't gotten our pizza so I called them and they said they tried to make a delivery but nobody answered...considering that I was sitting right next to the door waiting because I was starving I can guarantee that nobody tried to deliver. They also said the delivery driver tried calling me 3 times, which I ask to verify the address and my phone number which both were correct, you guessed it they never called me.

The manager went on to tell me that he could make a fresh order and have it delivered again however I would need to wait another hour and a half...never offered a discount or anything like that. I canceled the order...we have ordered for this place before with good luck but after reading the reviews on here looks like this happens a lot. Too bad...Toppers pizza is great but this store just ruined it for me...terrible customer service and no willingness to fix their...

So I get this allot and it's sad to say I do t k o if I'll be eating here ever again this is so unreasonable I get being short-staffed I get being busy but to just plain out hang up on me hello and then click call back no answer this is ridiculous I am going to do everything in my power to go to corporate and if I can't get to anybody through corporate I am going to go to the Better Business Bureau I just want this place shut down this is this is ridiculous seriously I don't mind going and picking up my pizza to be honest but when you're stuck at work and you have no other choice the convenience of customer service is to at least communicate with them that I'm sorry we are not able to deliver at this moment sorry for the inconvenience not just ignore them and hope it goes away I'm going to try calling one more time and depending on the outcome I'm going to try and remain calm again unacceptable and very...
