First timer. How can you not turn away from a 5 star user review eatery? Not the 5 star experience today. No question... customer service was spot on. Ordered up to the jumbo size dog. Not sure what regular would be but not worth the price. Look, I'm all for shopping the local biz, but if your going to charge 7 bucks a dog, make it something extrodainare. Costco dog has more of a value and I can have 5 of those for the price of one. Char-dog was not hot off the grill and kraut cooled down the dog. Why no polish dogs? All in all, solid array of choices but opportunity to step it up and make it more. Till then, will look elsewhere.

Oh man what a lovely experience. I came in on my break around like 4 45 - 5 o clock and I've never had this food before and WOW! IF YOU COME IN TRY THE "FRIES ZATAR"! I tried them on a whim and could not believe the unique and wonderful flavor. TRY THEM! I've also never had Schwarma before but holy smokes, I tried the mix platter so I could try both the chicken and the beef and I LOVED IT! I also am a person who struggles with new sauces and flavors, so I was hesitant to keep the sauce on it, but I was so happy I left it on. I did have the pickles removed because I hate pickles but the Schwarma wraps were simply amazing.

The staff were SO FRIENDLY on top of all of it! I had a wonderful conversation with the owner and I really really hope to see this place thrive! I WILL absolutely be back again when I am in the area. 11/10...

We tried this place originally as Oh My Dog and while it was good, the price was steep and we found we preferred Portillos.

However, when they rebranded to The Kabab Shack we thought we'd give it a try again...and we were pleasantly surprised! The newly added Middle Eastern food is quite delicious and while some may still say "pricey" the portions of protein are spot on for the price in the wraps! We also really enjoyed (and recommend) the falafel. We will definitely be back to try more.

The menu for this place is a mash up of both the OhMyDog options and the new Kabab Shack twist - while it might seem like an odd combination it's great for families that are trying to please picky kids...

This restaurant is in my neighborhood and I’ve been here four times already. The hotdogs are delicious, including the veggie dog! The buns are always very fresh. Reminds me of the hotdogs I had in my hometown of Chicago! I’m so happy they’ve expanded and are now a kebab shop. These are very common in Europe and I’m happy to see we have one here in Bayside now! We’ve tried the hummus, pita, falafel, baba ghanoush and grape leaf appetizer. All of the food is FRESH and delicious. The Baba ghanoush is my favorite, Smokey and not too oily. Served with amazing pita which may be made on site? It tastes like it’s right out of the pan. Highly recommend...
