I did everything online for my parents' anniversary. I ordered an 8" lemon bundt with a flower on top and a light drizzle. I also ordered 12 bundtinis, custom picked. My mother bakes, so I was very worried they would taste "store-bought", but she liked them a lot, which guarantees we'll be back! And the cake was so pretty and not overly fancy (my dad's words). We all loved the bundtinis because we could get a sampling of other cakes. Now the folks there were awesome - we were running late for pick up and they called to see if we needed to reschedule. Then, the next day, I called to compliment them on the cakes, and to ask a question about how they choose replacements in the bundtini box if they run out, NOT A COMPLAINT, JUST A QUESTION! Turns out, it was an error on the store's part and the store manager offered to replace the whole box! This is the NEXT DAY!!! I told her that's not why I called, multiple times, and eventually thanked her. Profusely. The cakes are top-tier in taste, no doubt, but along with that kind of customer service and kindness... Read moreWe used this store to cater bundt cakes as a dessert for our wedding. The bundt cakes themselves we're good but the service from this store was pretty terrible to us. With our order we also rented a stand to put the bundtini's on and that is where all of our issues lied. Once we returned the stand we we're supposed to get our deposit back. They only gave us half of our deposit back without ever even mentioning a reason to us at the time of return or anytime after. I had to call the store to find out why, which was frustrating to me. They told me it was due to damage which I never saw when I was returning the stand. Once I called the store to inquire about the deposit I was greeted with nothing but rude employees and was told we were wasting their time with this issue. They also refused to supply any proof of damage to the stand. I really don't mind losing half of the deposit if the stand was really damaged, it happens, but I truly don't think it was and their handling of the entire situation was so odd to me. She then went into the back to get the owner. For him to take over the order and do as he please charge my bank account another time. Then became furious because he didn't listen to the problem. Called me "You People" and told me to go to my area to purchase cakes. Mentioned that my bank is for broke people and that I should get my money back in my account on the same day after charging my card twice.
