Needed to get my engagement ring sized and wanted to support a local small business. After searching local options on google the reviews seemed promising. I have to say I was beyond happy with the results. They educated and explained the process to me. Spent one on one time with me ensuring the accuracy of the sizing I was requesting. Explaining every step of the way. All work is done in his store by him. No shipping out items and having to wait weeks. I visited the store right before closing on a Friday and first thing Saturday am my ring was ready. When I went to pick up my ring I wasn’t just handed it and sent on my way. I was once again given one on one service to ensure I was happy with my ring. Then through educating me and answering my questions I was able to see amazing hand crafted pieces of Jacques work that are absolutely beautiful. He is VERY talented and well known in the Boston area. His wife is also a certified gemologist. As a couple they are a wealth of experience, knowledge, talent and smiles. They made me feel like I had known them for years. Never rushed or pressured just that they were there for me and happy to help. I could have spent hours in their presence. I went to Jacques Jewelers for the first time yesterday to have a ring resized and it was a wonderful experience. I really know nothing about jewelry but Jacque and Reine taught me. Jacque showed me the process of resizing the ring and measured the stone for me, making sure I was aware of my ring the whole time. Reine taught me about gems and the different factors to look for in jewels. They both just provided wonderful conversation and were really kind.
