Alright, so I went on September 11, 2022, and ordered a mobile through the Burger King App. I wanted to use my Royal Perks points, so I redeemed three items. Notice that the app does not cap you on how many you can redeem at once. I redeemed a whopper, fries, and drink. I go to the register and present my code to the man. He types it in but has trouble, and he calls his manager “Jeremy” he is white, has white hair and beard, and wears glasses. He walks up with attitude, scoffs at the poor man at the register (I didn't get his name), and explains disrespectfully, “He has a whopper, and he can't redeem the fries, and he can't redeem the drink! If he read the sign on the wall that says limit to one coupon per person!” I tell him, “Oh no, there must be a misunderstanding. I am using the Royal Perks points” he responds with, “Yes, you can only order ONE THING PER PERSON” I was in shock. The man at the register was fidgety and nervous, so I apologized and said, “Okay, I’ll have the whopper then, and I will pay for the fries and drink… am I able to have my points back?” Jeremey said I couldn't because I already redeemed them… Um, what? Shouldn't that mean I get those items? But I didn't want to argue, so I went along. They ignored me until my order was ready, went back in line to order the fries and drink, and paid. I apologized to the man in the register for getting him in trouble, and he forgave me and explained what might have happened. But folks, this burger king is terrible service. Forget about the manager being rude to me. Who knows how he treats his employees? This comes from a manager sending one message to another. There's no need to be disrespectful, especially towards the employees. I am more than happy to be contacted about this. Those employees...
Read moreI came to this location one evening after shopping at Target. I pulled into the drive-thru lane, unaware of the good fortune about to befall me. A greeting came out of the menu speaker that was so ebuliently polished that I thought it must be a recording by one of those voice actors they hire for movie trailers. I sat quiet for a few seconds, dazed and enthused, gaping at my foodmate sitting shotgun. Then I remembered to order.
The entire ordering experience was refreshingly delightful. The concierge was empathically humorous throughout the experience. He stayed together with us in solidarity, sympathizing with us during the low points (there would be no breakfast or lemonade until the sun replayed its cycle hours later) and delivering thoughtful service for the highs (he realized that if I wanted to remove the tomatoes on one sandwich, this might indicate that I would also benefit from tomato removal on a previous sandwich I ordered. He repealed the tomato on the overlooked sandwich and replaced with a generous heaping of pickles). The mysterious individual revealed a hip command of pop culture reference, understanding that I wanted the large (Grande) size when I asked for the Ariana.
Once completing my order, I pulled forward to the tune of the gentleman's vocal drumroll. I felt like I was just selected in The Price is Right (look it up, youngster). I rolled slow, eager with anticipation of meeting the dedicated MC. Though he wore no name tag, he divulged himself as Michael. Kudos to you, Michael. Thank you for making our night, and for treating me to the sisterly Beyonce way of saying goodbye ("Solange"). I hope you immediately get a raise and are considered for promotion. We need more individuals of his caliber...
Read moreI am updating my (below) review after the shocking, horrendous way I was treated here tonight.
I wanted to look at the drive-thru menu for a few minutes after I had ordered to familiarize myself with it. It was late, and no one was behind me. The (older, female) employee taking orders (who hadn't been nice from the get-go) kept playing games with me asking, "Can I take your order" (knowing I had already ordered -- and I had explained why I was sitting at the menu for a minute). She continued to pretend that she thought I was "a new customer" saying, "Can I take your order?" She was messing with me. But this done disrespectfully/to force/control me. Then, she actually came out the back door and began to harass me.
I asked the younger female employee at the window why I had been harassed. She responded, If you want to look at the menu I suggest you come into the lobby and take a picture of it."
I am a customer. If I want to look at the drive-thru menu for a few extra minutes and no one is behind , I can do that.
I was so upset at this utter disrespect from both employees that I spilled my cup of ice. I told the Manager what happened and asked him for another one. He insisted I pay for it. I was shocked. I asked, "Have you heard anything I've told you?" He ignored me and continued to insist I pay for the 2nd cup of ice, acting exactly like the older female employee who had caused all this trouble.
I am very disappointed at this experience, as this was my favorite Burger King. I no longer feel comfortable patronizing it, as there is something VERY wrong with this...
