Pretty in Polish — Local services in Framingham

This evening, I had my first experience with the staff at Pretty in Polish, and it was a five-star experience all around!

First off, we called ahead and the staff were able to accommodate my husband and I for two basic pedicures. Our technicians were professional, kind, and they delivered standout service. They did not rush and they were highly attentive to our individual needs. I noted that my husband’s technician gave extra care to his feet and calluses, utilizing extra tools (like the electric file) to tend to his calluses/etc.

Also, the little details of this shop that I noticed were standout: There is a very diverse array of nail polish to choose from, and the normal polish, gel, dip, etc is all meticulously organized — they have a filing system of sorts (each polish is labeled and numbered accordingly). They also utilize a packet of sterilized and one-time use tools for each customer. The foot baths utilize disposable liners. I even noted that the technicians would wash their hands in between each client. PPE (gloves, masks) are in use.

Our service ran towards the business’ closing time, and I noted that the staff are VERY clean and thorough in their closing/cleaning procedures. To add- despite the fact that our service ran into closing time, we never felt rushed.

I have been getting my nails done for a long time ok. The pedicure was ok.

1st red flag, she thought it was an appt for 2 people ….when I said no I spoke to a man, who confirmed a nail fill with gel extensions already on and gel pedicure( yes, I told him I had gel on my toes already too).

2nd red flag, the lady doing my nails rushing me when I ask her to file my nails evenly then upset when I point out two nails not filed evenly and the wrong shape. She blamed me And said next time no short. I said I never asked short just a trim and coffin shape.. literally am shocked when she handed me…basically threw the nail file on my lap then walked away.

Never in my life have I been treated worse. When I asked to see two different colors ( not the display nail), she said it looks the same as this, didn’t ask me once after that. Horrible service. Take your...

My friend posted a picture of her Pre-Vacation nails and I just had to find out where she got them done! I have been trying to find a solid nail tech for my daughter who gets Acrylic's and have not been successful for years. We are SO lucky to have found Pretty in Polish. Not only are they careful and listen to what we want but their technical skills are outstanding! The manicures last forever and Lynn is such an artist. My nail tech went on vacation so I used Lynn for a gel manicure and it is still going strong 3 weeks later! We couldn't be happier!

Update: Lynn left…. We had a horrible experience!! The nail tech was sweet, as could be, but did not know how to put on a set of acrylics…. They came out bumpy, uneven, thick, and misshapen. I did not know until my daughter got in the car I had already paid and they closed their doors. 65.00 for this!...
