The last place I went to just wasn’t doing it for me anymore, it was always frustrating communicating with someone who did not understand English very well, I would say I want one thing and would get completely something different and I would keep my mouth shut and just pay for it because I didn’t want to be rude, same goes for my brows and making an appointment it was just very stressful and frustrating I was tired of paying for something I didn’t ask for. So, I would first like to say how pleasant and stress free it was to make an appointment, not sure who picked up the phone but he was very soft spoken, professional, kind and patient. Very easy to schedule an appointment. My nail tech was named Rosa she was incredible, I told her what I wanted and she did just that, she was gentle and didn’t hurt me while doing my nails not even once. Where I went they continuously would make my cuticles bleed and burn my nail bed with their machines so when I tell you this nail salon goes above and beyond for their customers, they do, this isn’t your regular nail salon. Rosa even asked me for a massage while my nails were drying and she did a great job at that as well, may I add she was very polite and kind. During my nail session I asked Rosa about eye brow waxing and if their was availability even though I did not make an appointment to get my brows done, she told me she would check for me and she did! I thought that was very sweet of her. After my nails were done she passed me on to get my brows done. I wish I knew the techs name who did my brows all I can say is she did a fantastic job and again did exactly what I asked for, I’ve been growing my eyebrows out for over a month due to the constant horrible wax job I was getting at the previous place I was going to. I was explaining to her I just wanted a clean up and not to make my brows too thin since my brows are already thin we shared a laugh and she got to it. She showed me when she was finished and I was so happy! After I was finished with everything it was ready for checkout, everyone at the front desk was patient and friendly and answered any questions I had and I definitely made another appointment after the wonderful experience I had at this salon. This place is exactly what good management looks like, it’s also incredibly clean and very relaxing. Getting pampered shouldn’t cause any stress or frustration it should be easy and you should be almost falling asleep getting your nails done, which this salon will make sure of lol. Thank you to the techs & management for all the incredible hard work you all do, it is definitely noticed and appreciated! Thanks for a wonderful experience :)

Went here to get gel nails. First of all this is a huge store with lots of staff. Appointments are highly recommended and credit cards are mandatory for appointment booking.

First let me start off by saying save your money and go somewhere else… the money they charge is not worth the work they did on my nails. I have many issues with this place and was going to give them another chance until they still charged me for a cancellation, full price, when I informed them that I couldn’t give notice as I was being admitted to the hospital for having a stroke. Then, told me I can get a credit to come back in a week. Horrible practice for paying customer, a $25 cancellation I would have excepted, even with my extenuating circumstances. However, after speaking with the other nail salon that I scheduled with in case my second time with this salon was a bad experience, I told them the situation and they not only said No worries to the cancellation, they also replied “we just want you to be well and we will see you when you get better.” Customer service goes a long way. I would book with them just for that courtesy and empathy alone a thousand times before I ever come back to this place. Loyalty to your customers is a virtue. Now, for the poor workmanship of my nails the last time I went there… just look at the pictures. My friend got her nails done with chrome and I was so excited to follow after her. She had her nails done for a month mine a week and it was chipping. Just review the receipts, my nails are the silver chrome. Horrible job, not to mention the person that did my nails had a language barrier, so when I would ask her things she would refer to the manager or owner and he was a bit condescending. I am asking you questions not what you can’t do for me today. Rush job and appear to not want to be bothered as if everything asked was an inconvenience. Needless to say, lesson learned, When you have one bad experience with a place don’t circle back the block. Just leave it alone. Lush Nail Salon over on Easton Ave will be where I send my loyalty for now on, not to mention, they fixed my nails and they did a much better job when it came to the Chrome nail look, were cheaper and more friendly staff willing to work with you and make sure your experience is pleasurable. The owner can learn from this as I’ve read other reviews that have similar discrepancies about this salon. And, the $80 charged will be disputed with my bank.

LONG REVIEW!!! If you're anyone like me, then you'll appreciate my detailed Review!

This is literally the best place to go if you want to relax and get great service ! My sister and I have been searching for a new nail salon for awhile now after no longer being happy at our old nail salon that we've been going to since we were in high school (we're now in our 30s). We both are very particular about out nails so trying to find a salon that made us happy was a challenge. After speaking with some coworkers, they mentioned Luxi Nails so I naturally read the reviews and decided to give them a shot. I am so happy I did!

As soon as you walk in, its just a relaxing and warm atmosphere - heavy on the relaxing! I was immediately greeted by the Owner, who was very nice and professional. He gave me a quick backstory on the salon and how he personally trained all the nail techs! So he stands behind all of them! I unfortunately did not have an appointment during this visit but he was able to set one for me and I was super excited to come back. BOOK AN APPOINTMENT TO SECURE A SPOT!! Booking an appointment was a nice plus as we are use to just walking in and most of the time sitting around for hours to be serviced! So having an appointment was a major plus for us!

The Day of my appointment: My appointment was set for 4PM and again I was immediately greeted and asked my name and told to pick a color. Shortly after, I was approached by my Nail Tech - Mercy! SHE IS AMAZING!!!! She asked me exactly how I wanted my nails from the shape to the length, etc. The service itself was great. I am very indecisive when it comes to nail colors but she was very patient with me once I wasn't happy with my color of choice. I was extremely happy with the service so much so that as soon as I left I called my sister and told her that I think we found a new nail salon and she called immediately and made an appointment for herself and her 3 yr old daughter. I then called and made an appointment for a pedicure for the same day and time.

The Pedicures are amazing as well. I love the curtain partitions so you can have some privacy if you come by yourself. But it was 3 of us and they were attentive to all of us. My niece loves getting her pedicures and her manicures. My sister loved the service as well that she said she would be back too!

My next appointment 3 weeks later (yesterday 3/29) with Mercy again was yet again amazing! And once again I had a hard time choosing my nail color but again she was patient with me! I love my nails a lot better this time around than the first - even though I loved the first set as well! So that means every time the bar gets set higher and higher and Mercy meets it every time! I literally love my nails! No exaggeration. From the color that was chosen by Mercy herself, to the length, and more importantly the shape!! Coffin shape is sometimes hard to accomplish! Also, as your nails are drying you are given a Back Massage!

I also got my eyebrows waxed in my last visit and was very satisfied as well!

I have found a new nail salon as well as new Nail tech in Merci! Thank you...

I’m really disappointed after my experience today and I think this is my last experience being disappointed because I will not be returning here. I’ve had issues with pricing and the quality of service in the last month or so, but today was the last straw for me. For the price of everything offered, I also expect a high quality product and that’s not always the case. I was doing hard gel for a while and all the nails began to lift after a few months of fill ins, and the owner told me that if I’m typing or using my hands everyday then the gel is bound to lift. I’m sorry, but who isn’t using their hands everyday? All of my friends get hard gel and none of them have had this issue because I asked around and we all have the same lifestyles in terms of work and hobbies. Fine, I decided to get a new full set and pay full price because I did not like how my nails were looking anymore. Last time I tried to get a design and I called they wanted to charge an extra $50 on top of the $55 hard gel fill in so I opted not to do it. This time around I just wanted some yellow lines on the nails and I booked the basic art option which came to $70 (steep but I thought it would be worth it). Not only do I absolutely hate the work that was done because it was very sloppy and uneven in thickness, but I get to the register and I am told that it is $80. This lack of communication in pricing is just not acceptable to me. It’s the second time it has happened. I booked basic art which very clearly states “very basic lines” and I showed the nail tech what I wanted and she accepted so I assumed this would be very easy. She never mentioned that it would cost more. Had she told me it would be $25 extra and not $15, I would have opted not to go through with it. I already felt $70 for the job done wasn’t quite worth it but to charge $25 extra is just so disappointing and feels like a waste of $ because I’m going to drill file it right off when I get home. I only booked the design because based on the business’ other photos of designs on Google I thought this would be super easy and beautiful. Rather than arguing about the price, I made the choice to pay and just not return. I recently moved here and thought I found my home nail shop but I’m really disappointed that I wasted so much money here. Try at your own risk.

I also forgot to mention that 1 of my nails broke off 2 months ago and I paid the extra $10 to have it fixed, and 2 days later it broke again and they tried to charge me again for it but because I explained that this had already happened, the owner offered the courtesy of no charge. But for these prices (especially because they’ve gone up recently) I’m very disappointed. Might as well go somewhere that’s not as aesthetically pleasing as this salon but at least you pay for the...
