Smoothie King — Restaurant in Franklin Township

I work near by so, I get the coffee almond smoothie sometimes for a late breakfast. I placed an order for 10:45am and, I felt bad since I was running late. When I got there at 11:00am and, nobody was aware of my order and, it was not ready. I was not upset since I was late anyway. The guy was very nice about it and, started to make my smoothie. I started to notice that the guy was having a hard time making the smoothie. Seemed like it was getting too thick so, he kept adding more liquid over and over. When he finally finished, I noticed that he had so much leftover smoothie in the blender. I was afraid that my smoothie would be diluted since it looked so light. I had no time to stay around since I had to get back to my job. When I finally tasted it, it was pretty much diluted almond milk with water. It was almost tasteless and, just tasting almond milk and water. I am sure people make mistakes but, I feel like it needs a bit more caring...

This is the go to smoothie place. I drive 20 minutes here just for a well made smoothie. It's definitely confusing at first with so many options, but if you browse online or on the app you can find what you like. My favorite is the Vegan Mango Kale as it uses healthier Plant Protein instead of Dairy Whey Protein. Also substitutes are FREE, so you can replace anything you don't like. Many of their drinks are mixed with processed apple/pineapple juices. I just substitute them for healthier natural fruits or coconut water.

A great improvement for smoothie king in general is to include dairy alternatives like coconut milk, almond milk, plant milk (ripple). That would definitely attract and retain a lot more lactose and...

My experience today, February 5, 2022 at smoothie King. Unfortunately, I was not able to enjoy my 32 oz. vegan pineapple spinach smoothie. The young man who was preparing it, coughed over it and WITHOUT a mask on. Now normally I don’t care about people wearing mask, I don’t care what anybody wears or don’t wear except for when you cough over my smoothie and/or if you are preparing food. I do have some health and safety concerns about that. Needless to say, the smoothie went straight in the trash right in the store after I paid for it.
