Five Below — Local services in Franklin

Normally, I have really good service. Today was a different story.

I wasn't greeted when I walked in, which didn't really bother me. But what did bother me was that they only had two registers open. One was cash and card, and the other was just card.

I only carried cash with me today, so I waiting for the cash one to open. A customer in front of me took almost 10 minutes to scan all of her items, and during that time, I had let 5 people in front of to use the card only register since I needed to use the cash one.

Once the customer checked out, I went to the register to scan all of my items. One of my items didn't have a barcode, which I didn't realize until I tried to scan it. I pressed the button on the screen that said "Need Help?"

I was told I would be assisted shortly, and so I looked behind me to see if anyone was coming to help me. One of the workers, he was a younger guy, saw me, looked at me, and turned away. He was close enough to the registers to know I needed help.

I left Five Below without the item I wanted. I realize I could've gone back and gotten another one that had the barcode, but I was ready to leave after having waited so long to check my items out.

I'm not normally a "Karen" but this really bothered me. Your workers should always be interacting with customers, and checking on them to make sure they don't need any help. This is coming from a 21 year old.

Please either train your employees to be more customer service oriented, or open...

I've been to this store multiple times now and not once have I been greeted when I'm there. I have not been asked if I need help. I even had a return and had to go find someone and ask them to come up to the front to help. Just seems like ever since they went to the self serve check out its gone down hill. They have a lot of stuff for under five dollars. From phone cases and chargers to clothes to make up and toys. I love the different activity kits they have for kids to do different experiments and dig for jewels and what not. Definitely worth the price you pay. They also have candy set up kinda like an old...
