7 years ago, I was searching for a letter/name necklace with my boyfriends name on it. After looking online for weeks and not finding anything I liked, I came across this booth selling custom jewelry under the stands at CFD. I immediately fell in love with the look of their necklaces. The letters were flat like I wanted and hung on the chain just like I wanted too. So I bought one with his name on it and have worn it every day for 7+ years. That’s 2,585 days consistently being worn. Because of that, I was terrified of it breaking it despite taking very good care of it. I had been thinking of getting a backup one just in case it breaks in the middle of the year and having to wait to get a replacement until July when CFD is. This last July I did it!! (2024). I went back to CFD under the stand and found their booth. Thank goodness it was still there year after year. I bought another necklace exactly like the one I have as backup and keep it in my safe at home. You never know when your favorite vendor is going to go out of business, which is my reasoning for buying a second one. These folks are truly wonderful and talented people. I first bought a custom initials ring from them at the Houston livestock show and Rodeo a few years ago and was heartbroken when I lost it. Well for my birthday today I decided to make the trip to Fredericksburg to get a replacement. After hearing that we had driven from Houston just to buy a ring from them they offered to wave the sales tax as well as include a free cleaning cloth. She also offered water and snacks for the drive back. I had a great experience and the hospitality as well as the quality of the ring made it well worth the trip.
