Red Baron Antique Mall — Local services in Fredericksburg

Decided to spend the weekend in Fredericksburg Tx at the campground. Our first time coming to this town, 'We are Native Texans' My wife and I are avid antique shoppers, 1st stop Whataburger, the young lady working the register was very rude right off the get go, after we left it was onto explore this Antique shop, the couple who entered before us as well as the couple that entered after us was greeted with a ' a smile and Hello, nothing but a glaring stare to us. Myself and wife, who happens to be African American and I a caucasian, both professionals were looked at like we were out to shoplift something and no greeting whatsoever, that really took me aback, for I just retired as a Federal Law Enforcement officer and my wife, currently a Veterans Patient Advocate , needless to say we left immediately and will never be back or support this...

I have been searching for a good antiques store for a while and decided on this one from the great reviews and pics but even the pics did not do this place justice! I've never seen so many things in one place and the selection is so eclectic. I've had several objects on my list for a while and saw all of them there and then some. Now I just need to save up and go back!

I also interacted with a couple people that work there and they were super nice and accommodating. I ended up buying 2 really cool, unique rings and an ornate perfume bottle but will be back for a piece of furniture for sure! If you're looking for really unique vintage furniture, take a truck because you will not believe how great the selection is! And make sure you go with at least 3 hrs to peruse because you'll want to make several trips around the store to...

Nice size, really bigger than i thought. Many, many REAL antiques. From guns(WHAT! YOU NEVER SEE GUNS) to authentic German farm tools. And some realy nice furniture, jewelry, coins. The list goes on and on. Treat yourself to this place if you enjoy antique stores that are not just full of glassware. Truly one of my favorite places. HOWEVER this is a tourist spot and the prices reflect this fact. But you cannot take away the fact they have some of the best...
