Stopped by the Iron Goat quite by accident. My friends and I were in the building to buy some cream for our coffee. Iron Goat is in an old grocery store turned into an indoor market so to speak. We met the head distiller, Preston. He was great! Preston made us amazing drinks and told us the story behind the distillery name. If you are in Fredericksburg, this is definitely a place to stop and have a drink. Tell Preston the girls from Dallas say hi!

Charming setting and great Rum and Agave Spirit (Tequila) distillery. Preston, Head Distiller, is very knowledgeable and friendly. Veteran friendly with a Veteran's wall for Vets to sign. Preston also gave us a tour of the Distillery. A really fun place.

If you don’t stop by Iron Goat you’re missing out! Preston makes amazing liquor, is knowledgable, friendly and is a really cool guy to talk to! My wife and I had a great time drinking cocktails and took a few bottles home! You have to try his honey liquor if you’re looking for something different and unique! Awesome distillery. The owners are a father and sons duo. Both are amazing guys, friendly, and know their stuff. They make great spirits. My favorite spirit being the honey infused. They also make the "Goat Whisperer" which is delicious (ask for a touch of maple syrup to be added). Awesome!! Can't wait...
