I had a great experience at the store. I need to have my battery check and the young man immediately grabbed his battery tester and walked with me to my car. He tested my battery and confirmed what I had figured, I needed a new battery. We went back inside so I could purchase the new battery. But the store was experiencing an issue with there point of sale system. The young man helping tried several times to find me in the system by entering my phone number but it wouldn't work. He then asked an older gentleman to help. The older gentleman apologized that they were having problems processing the sale. I didn't mind the wait because the issue was out of their control. After a few more tries the gentleman was able to get my transaction completed and I finalized my purchase. Both of these gentleman were professional and made my experience very pleasant. Moments before I had just left the Oreilly store across the street where I left without purchasing due to horrible customer service. I'm glad I made the decision to go to Auto Zone. Just about got us killed! I'm a musician, not a mechanic, so I was relieved to find out autozone would install my wipers for free. The young kid was very helpful, found the right wipers & had them on in a jiffy. Man that was great! Then it started to rain.... The passengers side wiper flew off & the metal thing that holds them put a giant permanent scratch in the windshield glass. We found the wiper & were going to take it back the next day. Later, at night during a torrential downpour out of nowhere the other (drivers) wiper flies off & is just gone into the night at 65 MPH. next thing we are plunged into blindness at high speed. We got off the road barely, but it could have been really bad. Moral of the story..... these young kids dont know or care what they are doing & I will never trust them again. I was heading though town and had something go through the side wall of my tire in a construction zone. These guys alone make the auto zone stores look like gold, specifically Boe at this location. When all the tire shops were closed he made sure that I was able to mount a new tire (from Walmart) to my rim since all the tire shops had closed. Me, my wife, and kids were able to make it home safely instead of being stranded 530 miles from home.
