update They are still the best here! ** Eat here you'll love it!! No matter how many times or what time of day we eat here, food is always good as well as the service. The owner takes care to have fresh ingredients and a clean environment. Asian garden is soooo much better than the other chinese food place in town. The other place is fancy but service is ok and the owner is rude, we were served glass pices in our food and when we alerted the owner, she simply said she has no glass in the kitchen and didn't know how it got there. No apology not even an offer to remake the dish! At Asian garden service is always friendly and food is always fresh and good! The only down side here, is after surviving COVID closures, they've raised their prices. Understandable, but they also reduced menu and portions, so it's really hard on the wallet to eat there as often as we used to, still they...
Read moreLet’s start on the positive: the iced tea was good as were the fried won tons. The waiter seemed preoccupied and then tried to take my order while I was on the phone with a patient. The sauce was not a traditional peanut sauce but a “house” sauce of unknown origin according to the waiter. It tasted like it had mayonnaise in it which is a odd choice. The entree had a strange brown sauce which was also not a traditional brown sauce as it lacked oyster sauce, rice wine and sugar.. the sauce tasted like straight beef broth and the chicken tasted pre boiled and did not absorb any flavor. We left most of it and left very disappointed. We...
Read moreMy server was very nice and very attentive, that is the only positive I have. I rarely complain about food. But I ordered the Jumbo Shrimp and scallops. For $14 it was a complete rip off. The shrimps were not jumbo, scallops were dry and overcooked. It came on a plate full of shredded lettuce and ring of broccoli around the plate. All to disguise the lack of jumbo and substance to this meal. No seasoning, no sauce, no flavor. I told the waitress what I thought of the food, she kindly addressed the manager. She came back with the managers explanation of how it's cooked down.
Really all the meal consists of is six shrimp and scallops overcooked, unseasoned, with raw broccoli on a plate full of shredded lettuce. Put some cheese and other toppings it make a much better...
