I thought this place would be the tradition spot for me and my fiancé as we went last year on Dec 31st for new years of 2023 into 2024 and had a blast! We were super excited to go all the way to the restaurant and recreate what a great time we had last year but..the atmosphere changed..they charged people 75 to basically 80 dollars for a seat insides for the “dine in experience” and a service that would be out of this world..we couldn’t believe that they had done this but still believed it was going to be a great experience for us..but we decided to just dine regularly with the establishment..we got to the owner and she said we can either eat inside or outside..we decided to eat outside due to the little seating inside either way..it was cold with only 2 heaters that barely heated the plastic barrier..or even anyone at all...we ordered chicken fried steak and a steak..no seasoning..the food took 40 minutes and we were sad that our favorite spot had treated us like this on New Year’s Day..I wanted to speak to the manager and she didn’t even come out to talk to us like last year...the server was very awkward with us and ran away from us mid confrontation..we were puzzled and heart broken..we no longer have a new years spot and we will probably dine with the restaurant across the street. Note: these are the pics from 2023 going into was 2024..they gave us party hats free! And the atmosphere was astounding! The food was fresh and the experience was unforgettable..it’s only a memory now to us that we will never forget..with the menu changed and prices up by 3 to 5 dollars..we can only remember..how nice it was before..

We were here on Friday Night group of 15 split up between 3 tables. This place is under staffed and the only thing i can recommend out of all the food we ordered is the pizza. We ordered the trio app and it took 38 minutes to come to our table. The trio is chips and dip. All the chips were crushed on all three orders. It took an hour and 5 minutes to get our meals, which 3 of meals never came out......we were charged for them. The hamburgers or not home made. Do not try them. The buns are bigger than the patty. We ordered alcohol drinks of which took 30 minutes to come out and when it did it was wrong. This place needs more wait staff, a senior bartender and I'm guessing an actual chef in the kitchen. Idk if it was an owner or manager that kept clapping after ever song that was behind the bar but when your business is struggling with unhappy customers. Actually get out on the floor help!! We were there two hours and not a finger was lifted by her.... i do not recommend this place and i don't see this place making it long in fredricksburg. The only thing good about this place was the bands. They were unique and talented. The rest was a "0". Note it was NOT our waitress's fault. She had no support and was waiting on ten different tables. She busted her a$%.

We came for Thanksgiving dinner and really enjoyed our meal. For appetizers, we ordered truffle fries and spinach & goat cheese flatbread. The truffle fries were mediocre, but the flatbread was amazing! For our entrees, most of us ordered the creamy pesto pasta (w/o bacon) and found it to be tasty but a bit lacking in flavor. The mac & cheese side we had ordered was really good though. As for dessert, the chocolate cake was delicious and really rich, but we’d ordered 2 slices and felt that one was different from the other (so not sure about consistency in that regard). Service was slightly slow, but it’s understandable because it was Thanksgiving. There was also some confusion as to what we had ordered, but they fixed it on the bill. Overall, great service, pretty good food, and reasonable prices.

If you can get in anywhere else for breakfast you’ll be better off, even if you have to wait.

When we first came in and seated it was nice and quiet. It was the only place with no wait which attracted my family but I warned them there was a reason for that but they continued on. Right off the coffee was terrible, watery tasting. When I asked our server what brand coffee they used she said Folgers, I told her something was off about their measurements because it was watery and two other tables next to us spoke up telling her they agreed it was watery and terrible. She said she wouldn’t know she didn’t drink coffee and never bothered to try to fix it or get someone to fix it despite so many of us agreeing. The breakfast offerings are very limited and the food was mediocre, the sausage Benedict is a HARD PASS, do not recommend, as for the other plates they use frozen sausage patties and I would say precooked biscuits due to how dry and hard they were. Our waitress was inattentive and was chatting with friends at another table about her medical issues rather than checking on our food, I saw the other waitress bring food out nonstop and quickly so I asked her about our food and she gave me the rudest look. She went to the kitchen and of course our food has been finished for a long time so we were served lukewarm food that had been done and waiting on her to pick up. Imagine that. She then tried to lean over our table and food to tell me why she was talking to those other people, I asked her to back up and that I didn’t ask nor need to know why. She got emotional and ran off to tell another employee behind the bar. Other employees started showing up and it got noisy in there quick from them yelling back and forth at each other like the bar music was on. Another employee that had just showed up that we had no interactions with came to our table and snakily told us they don’t water down their coffee and walked away before I could respond. I heard him being so rude to an elderly lady next table over for just wanting a cup...

Do yourself a favor and eat somewhere else. My fiancee and I went to this restaurant on 12/24/21 and on 12/25/21. The first visit was for a late lunch and I ordered a shrimp po boy and my fiancee ordered the shrimp plate. My po boy was supposed to come with "remoulade sauce"....it was missing. So I asked the waitress for some tartar sauce but she said that they didn't ever any. How can you serve seafood and not carry tartar sauce? The shrimp were so crunchy that I couldn;t close the bun. I had to use the knife to cut up the sandwich to eat it. My fiancee then said that she thought her shrimp had the wrong batter on them. Then we realized that they were cooked with a fried chicken batter. To thick and crunchy batter for seafood. The saving grace was the bourbon bread pudding.

So the next day we went back to give it another try. BIG MISTAKE! They were busy (Xmas Day). My fiancee ordered "Chicken fried chicken and cream gravy with mashed potatoes and green beans", I ordered "Chicken fried steak with the same veggies". Hers $15, mine $17. These came with a house salad, which we never got. When to food got to the table, it was almost cold. Been setting to long to get delivered to our table. The steak was the smallest size I had ever been served, especially for $17 . BUT the gravy was the worst, it was watery thin and white as milk, with no visible pepper in it. It wasn't seasoned at all, or they added so much milk to keep it thin for hours that it did not deserve to be called gravy. The green bean were fresh but the ends were not cut and the strings removed. A manager wouldn't even come to the table when the waitress asked her to. The waitress was very rude, the waitress the day before was very nice. I have read other reviews here and those with complaints the owner just cuts and paste the same reply most of the times "As you can see from our previous reviews we take great pride in providing an enjoyable experience for all our guests and we will strive to do better going...

German eatery's line may be long, but you'll wait just as long for your food here. DON'T DO IT!!!!!!!!!!

IF I COULD GIVE ZERO STARS, I WOULD!!!!!!!!

We waited over an hour for our food. 25 minutes for the bloody Mary we ordered upon sitting down. When our food finally came, literally every person's order was wrong. SOME of our party got the pancakes they ordered...others were brought waffles and told they "ran out of pancakes" HOW!?!? YOU DON'T HAVE FLOUR, BAKING POWDER, AND SALT???? THE EGGS ON MY OMLETE WERE THE MOST RUBBERY EGGS I'VE EVER HAD, CLEARLY EVERYTHING IN THIS RESTAURANT IS FROZEN, SO HOW DID IT TAKE SO FREAKING LONG TO GET OUR FOOD????????????. I had asked for cheese, the inside ingredients were wrong, the waitress took it away and came back with cheese just thrown on top. Not even melted or attempted to fix ANYTHING which is HILARIOUS since I just ordered the exact same thing as my daughter did word for word and her's was correct. I don't understand how that happens. Also, a table that sat down a good 30-40 minutes after we did were brought pancakes when we were told they ran out. WEIRD. This was after we went to order initially, and the first person said chicken and waffles...the waitress said "oh sorry, we forgot to tell you our fryer is broken". So, we waited an hour for food that wasn't what we wanted. It was COLD and wrong but we were so hungry we ate whatever they brought due to lack of option. Not that they would have fixed it. Waitress barely came to the table even though the restaurant was half empty. In the time we would have waited across the street, we spent on sub-par food and service. DO NOT COME HERE!!!!!!!! Oh.....and the 18% gratuity was added for our pleasure.... That's ok, we won't be back and we told several people on the way out standing waiting for someone to seat them to get out while they still can. One of the WORST restaurant...
