My husband and I stayed in âThe Graceâ in January. The weather was terrible, cold, raining, icy, but staying at the Menagerie made up for the lack of being able to explore Fredericksburg. The Grace was so cute and cozy. It had everything and more for us to have a peaceful few days together to unwind and relax. It was socked with drinks in the fridge, snacks of all kinds and loved getting our morning basket delivered with goodies to munch on. My husband and I used this as a working trip as well, and weâre both able to work while also enjoying the cozy atmosphere. The setup and dĂ©cor was phenomenal. You can tell a lot of thought went into the details. The bedding was comfy and the towels were thick and fluffy. You literally had everything you needed, especially given we spent a lot of time there due to the weather. The communication with staff was great. I give it a 5 star! The location was absolutely perfect to be able to go out for a nice dinner and not have to drive far. I also recommend eating at Jacks Chop House! The food and service was incredible!! Take a look at the pictures below of the food! We look forward to coming back to the Menagerie...

Read moreMy Husband and I stayed in the Esperanza room for a 3 day weekend to relax before my maternity leave ended. It was nice to have an adult only place to stay.
We loved how the room was updated and designed. It's a large space even with a king bed. They provided snackd when we arrived and even filled the ice bucket. The bathroom was large with lots of towels to use after a shower or swimming in the pool. The only thing I didn't love was the loud AC unit. I had a little trouble sleeping because it made a big noise turning off and on. It's loud running in general, too.
The pool area was really nice. We swam twice and used the hot tub. There is lots of furniture to lounge and sit around the pool.
We didn't try to walk to Main Street because it's so hot in the summer, but it looks like you could walk there pretty easily. We chose to drive because we were already going to be doing a lot of walking in town through the shops.
We would like to...
