So, I have a 2016 Toyota Corolla and had some front-end damage. The mechanic Joe is very friendly and seemed like he wanted to help as well as give me a fair price. However, his solution to fixing my front end without replacing the whole bumper was to bolt my bumper to the front end of the car where the bolts would be showing on the outside of my car... I have mechanics in my family, and I have also had to have repairs on cars from other mechanics and I cannot think of ONE that would offer this as a repair. Bolts are not meant to be seen on the outside of your front end/bumper. At this time, he then suggests he can zip tie the bumper back to the front end. My husband states this would not be the best solution well because engines get hot eventually if not immediately the zip tie would break. My husband suggested he use some type of wire or something more substantial that would hold in the engine. So, we left my car there and he stated he would take a look to see what our options would be and would give us a call prior to doing any work. We asked how much we would owe him if he was not able to do any repair to the car, he said nothing, but my husband and I stated we would still give him reimbursement for the work he was doing. We never got the call except when he told us it was ready and that he went ahead and did the zip tie that we stated we did not want. I didn't want to put up a fuss, so we paid $100 for the zip tie work that we did NOT want and asked to be consulted before any "work" was done. He also stated my right tie rod needed replaced along with 4 new tires and balancing would be an additional $720. My husband took my car to another mechanic after this come to find out I needed my left axle replaced, yes still needed all new tires, and the zip tie work that Joe did at MC used tires was already breaking and not holding. I just feel like this was not the best solution to my car even if he only wanted to offer to replace the whole bumper and gave me the choice to go elsewhere, I would have been fine with that. But I feel like I got beat out of $100 for shotty work that didn't last even 2 days. I am sure the experience is great when it comes to tires there but not so sure about...
Read moreThe guys here are angels in disguise! My husband and I are from CT and my husband was on his way to ft Eustis to see our son for his graduation before being deployed and decided to make this big trip even more monumental by taking our Harley Davidson duce on the very first multi state road trip. June 3 around 7 pm the throttle cable broke and things were looking very bleak as everything was closing. These guys happily took time out of their night and did everything they could to try and help. In the end selflessly stored the bike safely for my husband and got him to a hotel up the road. You guys restored my faith in humanity. Thank you so much for taking care of my...
Read moreI went to Pep Boys and they said they could not patch a hole in my tire. The nail was at least two inches from the edge of my tire. I came here to get a used tire and they said I don’t need a new tire, they were able to patch my tire in and out in 10-15 minutes. They were so friendly, quick, and so helpful in my time of need. I highly recommend this place of service!
It is now 3 months later and my tire is STILL doing well! No...
