Unfortunately, there is not room to provide the full extent of my experience of getting an alignment at Farm & Fleet. So... here's my (shortened) review: If you want your car back MORE BROKEN than it was before,... if you like being LIED TO about the progress of the work being done on your vehicle,.. If you enjoy hearing an idiot tell you how stupid YOUR mechanic is while the same idiot has broken everything he touched on your vehicle,.. Farm & Fleet is the place to go! As for myself, ONE GUY at Farm & Fleet in Freeport, Illinois, has sullied the entire brand name and I will NEVER bring any vehicle to them EVER AGAIN for ANYTHING.. not even something as simple as an alignment. Its just not worth all the damage they caused nor was it worth the loss of an entire Sunday to have this done. I won't even mention the fact that I now have to take my vehicle back to my mechanic to fix Farm & Fleet's mistakes! The guy could see that I was obviously unhappy with his work but he didn't even offer a discount for the several-hour wait or anything. I would advise EVERYONE to stay far away from that place with your own vehicle.. It's just not worth the hassle OR the cost of the re-repairs. Farm and fleet is my favorite place to shop in freeport. The staff is always kind and professional. The automotive shop that is attached is knowledgeable and the will have your car back to you in no time. On several occasions i have come back there with flat tires and they always find time to squeeze me in and take care of a loyal customer. There is a very good selection of ammunition back in sporting goods. A incredible selection of farm feed and pet supplies. This is the best place in freeport to get any wild bird seed or feeders. They have two isles of bird seed and you can buy bird seed in bulk bags saving you tons of money. My wife loves there selection of clothes for both her and our son. One of the least know things about farm and fleet that people tend to not know is that they have a small engine department that can work on your lawn mower, snow blower ect. Excellent store with the exception to the tire department. Purchased a full set of tires for a Ford Explorer through Eric. Went back the next day to have them installed and the department manager advised that I was sold tires that they didn't even have in stock. I travel back and forth between Illinois and Iowa for work, so I stated that I would like a refund and that I would potentially make the same purchase at the Farm & Fleet in Dubuque, IA. The manager stated that I did not have the correct paperwork and that I would have to return at a later point and time to get said refund. After reconvening with the wife, we concluded that we were never given any additional paperwork.
