Absolutely A+ store!!! A great and growing representation of Maine makers! Their newest venture on 31 Main St. in Freeport also, appears to be another fantastic place to see what Maine makers and artisans have to offer the locals and tourists alike!

I have to say that I should have reviewed this store a long time ago but I was inspired to post today after seeing a very negative review with a clear agenda to smear the business. I have shopped both stores very recently and I can assure you that 90%-100% of the items in the store are from Maine makers and artists. I happen to know quite a few of them personally which is how I found Freeport Market and then MADE!

As a loyal customer who recognizes the loyalty that the owners have to this great state's makers, I say keep up the great work and ignore the haters. You guys are the best and based upon your other reviews, I am not alone in that opinion!

Freeport needed a spot like this! The wood fired bagels are delicious, everyone who works at the market is super friendly. The curated market has lots of yummy snacks for special picnics or treats.

They did an amazing job with the build, great craftsmanship and vision. This is definitely a plus for the community! My new favorite activity is grab a snack and walk down to the harbor and enjoy...

Both locations are loaded with items not made in Maine! I was very disappointed stopping in today, they sell themselves as being this wonderful place for local Maine makers and artists yet both shops are filled with out of state wholesale items. Do not assume anything is Maine made!...
