Toad&Co is a must visit in Freeport. The first time I walked in this store 7 years ago it felt like they’d taken a page out of the book of my life, there is nothing in the store I don’t like! The store is so carefully curated and artistically designed that it creates a fun and unique shopping experience. It’s clear the Toad team values customer service, every time I’ve shopped in the store I have been greeted and received assistance on sizes, finding similar styles and product information. I love that Toad values sustainability and quality meaning I can feel good about my purchases and know my products will last a long time. Rude staff. Came in with my 6yo in tow, to spend some dollars. Within minutes he had to use the bathroom. I approached THREE staff members who wouldn't acknowledge me because they were too busy talking about breaks. Pretty sure one of them was a manager. So I had to interrupt and ask if they had a restroom, to which one blankly looked at me and bluntly said "No" before turning away to resume personal chatter. How about directing us to one? We stopped into both sides of the store and were happily greeted each time. I was looking for a backpack with a specific type of strap that was hard to hunt down and even though the backpacks initially didn't quite have what I was looking the sales associate continued to look throughout the store and eventually found a match! The backpack we purchased is a Fjall Raven High Coast 24L and is absolutely perfect for our biking/day hike needs.
