UPDATE 7/26/17: arrived 15 minutes early, only to again have a 45-minute wait past my appt time (total wait time now 1 hour) while the techs left the site to buy lunch and then came back to eat it, with a (now) full waiting room. No apology nor excuse. Then it took 9 sticks before the needle was finally inserted. This is the last time i will go to this lab, and I warn anyone else needing this type of test to avoid this location.
Arrived 30 minutes early, signed the register and then sat completely unacknowledged for 20 minutes. Then I was informed I needed to go to a different location than what the paperwork stated (& the person who called me to confirm never bothered to mention this to me). Registration person at the front desk was rude and unprofessional. The main entry door has no signage other than the suite number, which does not match their paperwork and is 2 doors away from the address listed on their paperwork. Read moreI recently visited Silicon Valley Medical Imaging in Fremont, CA, for an MRI scan and had a very disappointing experience. Right before my scan, I was asked to remove a medical device I was wearing. This device cannot be removed without being replaced, so I had to dispose of it, which was both costly and inconvenient.
I informed the staff member conducting the MRI that they should have notified me about the need to remove all medical devices prior to my appointment. Instead of acknowledging this oversight, she argued that it was the responsibility of the doctor who ordered the MRI to inform me. She also mentioned that they were telling me now, right before the procedure.
This lack of communication can cause significant inconvenience to future patients, potentially resulting in wasted appointments and unnecessary expenses, especially for those who take time off work for their appointments. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and improves their communication with patients to avoid such issues...
Read moreI want to express my sincere appreciation for your receptionist Ms. Alcantara, who was so helpful and professional during my daughter's recent visit. Ms. Alcantara was instrumental in helping us get the approval for my daughter’s MRI procedure by calling my insurance company and doctor’s office several times. She knew my teenage daughter was really stressed about her knee injury and wanted to get the MRI done as soon as possible. Her assistance helped expedite the insurance process.
While we were waiting in the reception area, I also noted how kind and patient Ms. Alcantara was with the patients. She treated them with great respect and reassured them when they expressed concern about their upcoming procedure. I noticed that the elderly patients were comforted by her words.
