I brought my mother of pearl butterfly Effy earrings for repair. On pickup I noticed that mother of pearl pieces weren't centered properly and there was epoxy resin residue that was left on mother of pearl that's outside the gold casing. It turned the mother of pearl gray and visible to the eye. When working with mother-of-pearl (MOP), resin or epoxy must never be used, because it seeps into the nacre and permanently stains or dulls it. I spoke to the store manager Kathy, she said too bad, I'll ask the jeweler on Tue to remove your mother of pearl and give you back the earrings without repair!!!! She also indicated she has no time for me because she is closing, I called 45 min before closing. Honestly, I would not proceed to removing already damaged mother of pearl without speaking to a jeweler, but Kathy was adamant that she is going to remove the pieces and give it back to me, which I did not authorize. The next day they did in fact remove the MOP pieces, very unprofessional. I would not recommend them due to quality of repairs, although initially I thought it's a nice shop for my jewelry needs (which I love). Not offering a solution and losing a customer because of poor management and communication is something the owner really needs to address with her staff that just got a bit too...

I came in with my silver necklace that needed to be repaired. After being quoted an outrageous price elsewhere for such a quick and small fix, I was hesitant to have it fixed.

When I walked into this store, the lady who assisted me was incredibly kind and understanding. Not only did she repair my necklace for free, but she did it with care and attention to detail. I was blown away by her customer service and her refusing to take money for the repair.
