Hobby Lobby — Local services in Frenchtown Charter Township

At first I was really excited to go to the Hobby Lobby here in town I recently relocated here and have not been to a Hobby Lobby in a while due to the move and work schedules during the covid pandemic so it was exciting to go see what new things they had in the baking section or what type of fabric and trim they have for various costumes. When I arrive it was a really interesting and odd experience. As I walk into the store there is weird Christian music playing and I swear they were playing two different songs at the same time and it was very distracting and annoying and I had to put my earbuds in to drown out the terrible flutes over the pianos. Then as I went shopping I find that they too have experienced price hikes and when I which the register I was really surprised to learn that they no longer use the 40% off coupons. To be fair it has been a while since I've been shopping at a Hobby Lobby so I have no idea when they stopped the coupons very sad . The other thing that was a little concerning and I really didn't appreciate the fact that was by the registers they always have little knick knacks and such that other stores but this store had nothing but Christian books of to look at while you're waiting in line I felt like I was was in a church gift shop so I'm not sure if I will go back because I was not very comfortable at all with the terrible Christian music and the Christian books and other Christian gifts everywhere. I fully aware that this is a christian-based store however there are other stores that have the same products that I can go...

How can you go wrong shopping here? I mean seriously!!!?? You want Halloween right now... THEY GOT IT! ... YOU NEED CHRISTMAS, THANKSGIVING OR ANOTHER HOLIDAY... THEY GOT IT! Need a great knick knack at a VERY REASONABLE PRICE... THEY GOT IT! Going to a House warming party or a Wedding and need a gift that's unique but doesn't break YOUR BUDGET but still looks like YOU DID.... THEY GOT IT.. need a craft... THEY GOT IT and quite reasonable with great coupons and sales! I adore this place and can get lost in here for hours!

I'm in there alot and today was horrible experience. When I got to checkout Terri was so rude and mean and snatched a bag out of my hand breaking my fingernail. I went back to fabric which she instructed me to do and was then escorted back by the fabric associate. She tired to make sure the fabric was rang correctly. Terri then stated she didn't tell me to go to fabric and kept glaring at me telling her eyes. A manager took over but Terri still stood there and argued with me about what she said to me earlier. I then asked for manager to review cameras and number to file a complaint. Was told by manager they don't give out that number. As I exited store could hear Terri laughing. They have ended most of there sales and items are to high priced paying regular. My advice shop somewhere else for fabric or other...
