I see a lot of positive reviews however unfortunately mine and my husband's was not that positive... maybe we caught the workers on a bad day however they seemed rude and unprofessional... while driving around that morning running errands our tire got a nail in it so we had to take it to Joe Lake for a patch while we were waiting for it to be fixed we walked over to Starbucks we ordered a large coffee and a medium French vanilla cappuccino when I ordered my cappuccino the young woman asked if I wanted coffee in it at first I didn't quite hear her so I said I'm sorry what did you say coffee? and she said yes and I kind of shrugged a bit confused and said yes.. While we waited for our drinks to be made a woman who looked like a manager set my drink on the counter and as I looked down at it I realized she had made me a ice Frappuccino instead, we walked back over to the counter and the manager asked what was wrong we told her we had ordered a cappuccino and as we said that the woman who took my order turned around and then just started laughing and looked over at another co-worker and said "she ordered a cappuccino and I made her a frappuccino" as she was still laughing we thought that was weird normally a worker would apologize or say sorry about that but she found it funny.... then my husband asked the woman who we think was the manager if the price was the same or if we were supposed to get change back when he asked her she looked at him and rudely just said I don't know and shook her head we looked at each other like wow she sure doesn't like working there.... after a few minutes they handed me the change I was due and my cappuccino however when they handed me the cup it was so light I thought there was literally nothing in it I opened it to realize the cup had literally less than half of the drink and the rest was foam at this point I just didn't even want to bother anymore and we left... I am truly not one to complain and rarely have ever complained or had an order changed in my life but this seemed ridiculous to us!!! We will probably stick to tim Hortons...
Read moreThis morning 5/4/24, I met with a small group from our church at Starbucks for a monthly informal meeting. At 8:55 AM, I ordered a large coffee with two creams and one sweetener to drink during our 9 AM meeting. We sat where we could see the pick up counter. At 9:30 I approached the register asking about my coffee. They couldn’t find it by my name, but offered to make another. I pointed out that another gentleman in our group had been waiting even longer (our Pastor actually and he had already ordered before I even arrived). At 9:40 a lone coffee cup appeared in the mobile pickup area. My pastor approached and asked if it was for him. They said yes and he took it. At 9:45, another appeared. It was in the mobile pick up section with no name on it (I checked it). At 9:50, I approached the register again and asked to just cancel my order (our meeting was over). I was told the waiting cup with no name in the wrong pickup section was mine. Then one of the ladies behind the counter got snarky with me saying “I called it out”. 50 minutes to serve a simple cup of coffee and then gave me an attitude about not realizing the unmarked coffee in the wrong section was for me. All I could think was “wow “. My reaction would have been quite different had my pastor not been present. I simply walked away with my coffee and suggested we move our future meetings down the road to Tim Horton’s. All present, having seen what...
