HORRIBLE STORE WITH HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! I have 2 complaints regarding 2 horrible, unprofessional, incompetent and rude Kohls workers at this location. The first complaint is with a worker by the name of Magnalina (aka Mags) who was working register one on the evening of Tuesday, July 16th. Mags is the most rudest, smart mouth, unprofessional Kohl’s worker I have ever encountered. I walked into the store, because I was on hold for nearly 20 minuets by the so called “lead manager” that night, named Alex (who is horrible). After asking Mags what’s the name of the lead manager, she rudely said “she can tell you herself” and rolled her eyes and smirked. Never have I ever been talked to in such a way by a customer service rep. Mags is a horrible representation of Kohls. Alex is horrible as well. To leave a customer on hold for over 20 minuets and not come to phone, and then when confronted, have nothing to say but “oh, I got busy and forgot” is completely uncalled for. She never apologized. Alex didn’t even properly handle my question when I asked where a certain item was in the store. Instead of walking me to the area where said item was, and servicing me after she left me on hold for so long, this lazy girl stayed her lazy butt behind the counter and just pointed in the direction of the store where the item would be. I ordered a Shark Vacuum Cleaner from the Kohls Pearland location , went to pick it up and brought it home excited to open the box and use it . The vacuum cleaner was used and filthy (see attached pictures ) when I called today the Store Manager stated that all she could do is replace it . I have already driven 40 minutes to pick up the vacuum cleaner and now I have to drive another 40 min to replace it . And , she had the audacity to tell me that once an item is returned , they mark it as damaged goods and they can’t resell it . Seriously? Then why is the vacuumed cleaner I purchased for $250 .00 filthy and clearly used ? And that’s all you can do ? Apologies and mean it would have been a great beginning. You can bet that if you purchased a service from my business and you had to take time from your day to drive 40 minutes back because you were unhappy especially, when it was my responsibility that caused the situation, that I would make it worth your trip back to my business . But that’s me and what I expect customer service to be all about . 11 years I have been a Kohl’s account holder and because of a manger who clearly did not want to be bothered , leaves me with an experience that will not be forgotten . I am giving 5 Stars because the employee that helped me in the jewelry dept (what's left of it) was so sweet and helpful I was looking for a gift and wanted a bracelet but they were out of my price range ( they only had 2 designs in the whole dept); I decided on some pretty earring and we found out they were on sale. Then she reminded me to add my phone number to get my rewards which I had $5 then she got me a coupon for 20% off fine jewelry so she helped me save on my purchase. And I love getting good deals she was very friendly and sweet and a big help as my husband was waiting in the parking lot. The first time I went to the counter no one was around and I waited and waited so went to look for something else. The store was pretty picked over in some areas , jewelry for one actually looks like they are selling out of the jewelry dept. Most Kohl's I have been to have lots of jewelry the counter with them bute gemstones silver and gold but not here they only had a couple of display cases with jewelry the others had electronics. I didn't see any perfume in the store or makeup. So glad when I walked back around I saw the associate so I wouldn't leave empty handed.. I wish I asked her name .
