I recently had the pleasure of indulging in a delightful spread that brought together classics and creative twists. Here’s my take on each dish:
Saag – Earthy, smooth, and rich in flavor, the saag was beautifully spiced and comforting. It paired perfectly with warm makki di roti or even plain naan. The mustard greens were well-cooked without being overdone, and the ghee tempering added a rustic charm.
Paneer – The paneer was fresh, soft, and soaked up the gravy well. Whether it was served in a butter masala or kadai-style preparation, it stood out as a vegetarian highlight. The balance of creaminess and spice was on point.
Butter Chicken – This was the star of the show. Velvety, mildly spiced, and decadently buttery, the chicken was tender and cooked just right. The gravy had that signature smoky richness that makes butter chicken irresistible.
Chicken 65 Biryani – A fusion twist that surprised me in the best way. The biryani was aromatic with a good punch of spice, while the Chicken 65 topping added a crispy, tangy kick. It’s fiery, bold, and definitely for spice lovers.
Strawberry Mousse – Light, airy, and a refreshing end to a rich meal. The mousse had a natural strawberry flavor and just the right amount of sweetness. It wasn’t overly creamy, which made it a nice palate cleanser.
Mango Drink – A classic choice, especially with spicy Indian food. Sweet, thick, and mango-forward, it complemented every dish well, particularly the biryani and...
Read moreThis was my first time trying Indian food, and I’m so glad I chose Biryani House! From the moment we walked in, the service was incredible. We were greeted by the sweetest woman, Devyani (her name was on our receipt), who made the whole experience so welcoming. She asked if we needed recommendations and took the time to explain the menu to us, which was so helpful since it was all new to us.
For appetizers, we ordered the Lamb Samosa and Papri Chaat—both were absolutely delicious! Before our appetizers even arrived, Devyani brought us a Mango Lassi to try since it was our first visit, and it was so refreshing and tasty.
For our entrées, I ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala, and my mom had the Shrimp Masala. We paired it with garlic naan and rice, and everything was cooked perfectly—the flavors were incredible.
What really stood out was the kindness of the staff. Devyani checked in with us throughout the meal, making sure we were happy with everything, and even brought us a small portion of their rice pudding to try after we finished eating. Another gentleman from the back also came out to chat and offer recommendations, which made the whole experience feel so friendly and personal.
The restaurant itself is beautiful inside, the service is top-notch, and the food is full of flavor. We left so impressed and can’t wait to come back and try more dishes. Highly recommend Biryani House for anyone wanting delicious Indian food and a warm,...
Read moreI enjoyed my chicken tikka masala, saag paneer, and garlic naan. Service from the young gentleman who took my to-go order was fast and very polite. My order was ready within 15-20 minutes as promised. I know I will return regularly to Biryani House for delicious, well spiced and flavorful Indian cuisine. The restaurant had a peculiar smell when I walked in, something like moth balls. However, the dining area is well kept and clean. I was just a bit disappointed to have two halves of their delicious buttery garlic naan in my order of two. I usually receive a whole round naan as one order from other restaurants, therefore four halves. My chicken tikka masala sauce was slightly thin, but very flavorful and delectable. The saag paneer was perfect. Again, these are small things that would not prevent me from returning. I’m glad to have a good Indian...
