Lily’s Kitchen — Restaurant in Fresno

This is seriously my new favorite hawaiian bbq joint. We ordered a bunch of food for dinner and leftovers. We ordered through Uber Eats and while I've been really disappointed in food delivery. The driver was great and the food even better. I ordered the hawaiian mix, half & half(hibachi steak & katsu chicken) 2 spam musubi, extra macaroni salad, potstickers, and a chicken teriyaki bowl. Again dinner tonight and food for tomorrow. I always tend to find the chicken in my mix dry. This was tender and juicy. The beef had great flavor. My husband said everything in his container was delicious but the sauces were great. We split the spam musuhi and chicken teriyaki bowl with my two kids. One is a picky eater and still liked it all. My son wanted more. I'm not one to typically say something is good. But i called and let the business know we all enjoyed their food. We have loved this place for years now. The food is always great and service is always wonderful as well. Today though… I didn’t get treated with just great food and great customer service, I was treated with human kindness. The woman who seems to always be here working (she may even be the owner) stopped business (a line of people ready to order their amazing food), just to walk me to my car with the food I ordered. I am 8 months pregnant, and it was a large order. Even though I said “it’s okay, you don’t have to do that”, she insisted on it. 🤍 Some people might not care for a review like this, but I love supporting local businesses. Not only is the food always tastier than chain restaurants, but because they are filled with wonderful people like she is. If you’re reading this review… thank you for your kindness and help today. Really glad to see that there's finally an actual Hawaiian food spot in town versus the chain restaurants. I love that there are options for fried rice, especially bacon fried rice. My only request would be to add spam fried rice to the menu. There was so much good stuff to order which definitely makes me want to return to try the other items. We enjoyed the chicken and bee combination and bbq combination. If you substitute with fried rice they take out the macaroni salad so you will need to order that as a side. The boba was GOOD. I believe they put actual watermelon chunks in the watermelon. The service was very friendly and not much wait for the food. Looking forward...
