Ray, Zoraima, and the team at Paellas San Juan catered my mid-October wedding and we had the BEST experience. So good in fact my husband and I have joked about getting divorced just so we could have them cater our wedding again! (We are very happily married don’t worry lol!)

I wish I could give 6 stars because our experience with them was JUST. THAT. GOOD. If you’re considering them just contact them now and book your date!

From day 1, Ray was available for any and all questions, and even took calls while their family was traveling in Spain, insisting it was no trouble. Throughout the 9 months between when we signed our contract and the weekend of the wedding, Ray and Zoraima were always open to chatting and providing advice, recommendations, and insight. There were no awkward fees or additional charges for consultations. You can tell they really love what they do and genuinely care about making your experience special. Every call was full of laughter and assurances that our event would be amazing. It was an absolute pleasure to work with them.

So first things first: they catered our rehearsal dinner (pizza!) and cooked it on site and even made custom pizzas for kids and people with specific preferences. We had a change of plans at the absolute last minute and they pulled together to cater our rehearsal dinner within like 10 days and everyone raved about the pizzas! It was so fun and set immaculate vibes for our wedding weekend.

Now we get to the good part: the food. I had nearly every guest tell me that the food was the best they’ve ever had. I’ve eaten at several Michelin star restaurants and they didn’t hold a candle to the paella and cocktail hour bites that were served. I am not even afraid to hype it up too much because I’m confident that the food will blow you away. I have literally never enjoyed lamb but I still dream about their lamb skewers. We had extra paella they boxed up for us and heated up in a pan the next day they were just as good. I’m literally drooling as I write this.

Our guests went absolutely FERAL for the small bites at cocktail hour and desserts from the dessert bar, and I swear they all licked their paella plates clean.

The Paellas team made my husband and me a small and adorable plate of the bites since we were busy with photos during cocktail hour, and also a sampler of desserts which was so sweet of them.

Their day-of presentation was flawless, they were SO fun and kind to our guests, and Ray and Zoraima felt like my uncle and auntie making food for my wedding and not just another vendor - that’s how much care went into our day.

Paellas if you’re reading this please know it was an absolute pleasure to work with you and I hope to host another event with you in the future (hopefully not another wedding, the goal is for us to only have one...

Paellas San Juan is absolutely AMAZING -- we are so, so happy that they catered our wedding and our guests were raving about them. We got married last weekend in Friday Harbor, and Paella's catered all three days of our wedding weekend. Ray & Zoraima were absolutely amazing to work with throughout the entire planning process. They were quick to respond to emails, not afraid to jump on a phone call with us, and were super collaborative the entire process.

Lets start with the welcome party -- they catered an absolutely iconic outdoor garden pizza party. Ray, Zoraima and their team seamlessly pumped out wood fired pizzas for all of our guests. And they were delicious -- the dough was soft, the sauce was delicious and the cheese was fresh. Our guests were thrilled about the pizzas. They went above and beyond and even made personal pizzas for some guests who had different requests. Truly some of the best pizza we've ever eaten!!

On wedding day, the team CRUSHED it. The papas fritas and shrimp croquettes at cocktail hour were a hit. The charcuterie board was gorgeous (and delicious). And don't even get me started on the paellas!! Our guests audibly GASPED when they went to buffet line and saw the gorgeous paellas all lined up. The rice was truly DELICIOUS and the seafood was fresh. People mention that the newly weds have to sneak in a meal with the chaos, but truly sitting down with our paella we ATE THE WHOLE BOWL. It was out of this world delicious -- fresh, perfectly seasoned, and delicious. An incredibly memorable meal for such a special day. The team was so attentive and detail oriented, the buffet went so smoothly.

Lastly, the paellas team catered our farewell brunch on the day after the wedding. They made loads of breakfast sandwiches all wrapped up in cute paper for guests who needed a grab & go option before running off the the ferry. The donuts and pastries were soft, fresh, and delightful (especially the eclairs, YUM). They had hot coffees, teas, fruits -- everything!! It was such a perfect meal to share with our guests as we all hobbled in from the wedding night before.

Truly cannot speak highly of the paellas team enough. If you are considering hiring them for your wedding/event -- DO IT. I wish I could give them 10/5 stars because they are just THAT GOOD. All in all, delicious food all weekend, amazing service, and perfect execution all weekend. THANK...
