The main gems of the San Juan Islands, Friday Harbor remains one of the few fun and welcoming islands in the SJ to tourists and visitors.. unlike some of it's neighbors (Lopez) that have turned their backs on tourists in favor of rich "private beach" zoning, Friday Harbour is a refreshing throw back to the Old Identity of what the SJ Island used to represent. 10/10 will recommend.

The director, Kevin, and his staff of two volunteers were very gracious and friendly. We walked the entire facility and enjoyed the displays.
