I recently had the pleasure of dining at Chipotle Mexican Grill, and overall, I had a very good experience with the food and service. Chipotle has undoubtedly carved its niche in the fast-casual dining scene, offering a customizable menu with a variety of fresh ingredients and bold flavors. While the food and service impressed me, there were a few areas where improvements could be made, particularly in table maintenance and cleanliness. Additionally, the inclusion of a separate mobile pickup counter and drive-thru service would greatly enhance the convenience factor for customers on the go.
From the moment I entered Chipotle, the aroma of sizzling ingredients filled the air, instantly stimulating my appetite. The menu options were extensive, allowing me to build my own burrito bowl with a wide array of toppings and proteins. The quality of the ingredients was evident, as each bite delivered a burst of vibrant flavors. The meats were succulent and perfectly seasoned, while the salsas and guacamole were rich and well-balanced.
The staff at Chipotle was friendly and efficient, guiding me through the ordering process with a smile. They displayed a remarkable ability to handle the lunchtime rush while maintaining their composure and delivering orders promptly. It was evident that the employees were well-trained and committed to providing excellent service.
However, I noticed that the cleanliness of the tables could be improved. Some tables had residual food stains, and the occasional debris from previous customers was left unattended. A more diligent approach to table cleaning and maintenance would enhance the overall dining experience and create a more inviting atmosphere for patrons.
Having a dedicated space for mobile orders helps the pickup process and improve efficiency, ensuring that customers receive their food promptly. The inclusion of a drive-thru service helps customers who are looking for a quick and convenient option, especially during busy periods or when they are unable to dine in.
In conclusion, Chipotle Mexican Grill delivered a good dining experience with its flavorful food options and attentive service. Despite some areas that require improvement, such as table cleanliness, the overall experience was positive. I would highly recommend Chipotle to anyone craving a delicious, customizable Mexican meal with a...
Read moreFirst I waited for roughly 15 mins in line to be told I couldn’t order a quesadilla and I would have to order that online. NO OTHER CHIPOTLE I’VE EVER BEEN TO HAVE I HAD TO DO THAT. Second after placing my order online I asked an employee if it would be possible to add double cheese to the quesadilla and double cook it. I was met with a less than considerate employee saying “if I remember, there’s a lot of orders ahead of you.” Third when placing my order online said it would be ready by 6:40 I did not receive my food until 7:00. After asking the employee if my quesadilla was the one being put into the oven he said yes and that he threw a little extra cheese on it. I was not impressed because I asked for double cheese. He then preceded to say that’s an extra charge. AGAIN! NO OTHER CHIPOTLE I’VE EVER BEEN TO HAS DONE THAT. I’m paying $9.00+ for a tortilla and some cheese and for it to be heated up. That’s already a rip off in and off itself. The least they can do is double cheese and not charge for it. When I asked if they could do that and put it on the tortilla warmer they said they couldn’t. The chipotle I normally go to does it this way every time. Then they say they can’t put extra cheese on a quesadilla because it would melt over in the oven and smoke. So extra cheese is a charge but you can’t do it anyway because of the oven?!? Hmmmm 🤔. We also didn’t have an option to add extra cheese to the quesadilla or to add any extra comments to double cook it when ordering online. Next, I’ve never had a burrito be so small here or anywhere I’ve ever been. Typically when I order my burrito from chipotle it’s the size and weight of a small child. This time it was more like a sickly underweight Chihuahua. On top of that they forgot the lettuce on my burrito and the rice for my wife’s quesadilla. We were already so defeated at this point with everything we ate our meals in anger and left. With everything that happened above, which I’m sure I’m missing 1-2 things here, you would think that someone or the manager which I believe came over to help would’ve had better customer service to accommodate the situation. WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO CUSTOMER SEVICE IN THIS COUNTRY??? At this point I would even like my $30 back that I spent. Especially considering my wife and I go to chipotle 1-2 times a week. I will never go back to...
Read moreI'd first like to begin with how much my family, and I love Chipotle and although we had a poor experience, we are still loyal customers and will be back.
Yesterday evening I placed multiple online orders, to take advantage of the spooktacular BOORITO special, and unfortunately had several issues with the both the quality of the food and late pickup times.
These orders were slated for 8:20pm and 8:30pm pickup times at the Hwy 380 Frisco location. We arrived for pickup at the store just after 8:35pm.
There was a long line wrapped around the building in the Chipotlane so my husband opted to run inside instead. None of the orders were ready and there were 8 other customers who were inside waiting as well.
At 8:40pm I received a text message from my husband grumbling about walk-in's placing their orders at the counter and receiving their meals immediately. 8:45pm - 25 minutes after the scheduled pick-up time, our first order was ready. No update on the other two orders.
At this point my husband is starving and decides to sit down and eat while waiting. His burrito was poorly wrapped and falling apart before he could even pick it up. The rice was cold - the entire burrito was for that matter- and this may seem a little picky, but the ingredients were not spread evenly throughout the burrito. Perhaps calling them ‘stacked’ would be appropriate. Guac and carnitas on one end, rice and beans on the other.
9:00pm- the staff informs my husband that the second order is almost ready. No update on the third order. At 9:20pm we decided to throw in the towel and my husband let the staff know that we couldn’t wait any longer.
Now mind you, the staff was doing the absolute best they could. They were swamped and it was obvious to anyone that this was a rough night and they tried very hard to stay customer centric through it all. Considering how chaotic it was, I’d say they each deserve some props for handling all that stress as well as they did.
I attempted to contact the location directly for some type of resolution, but I was unable to find a...
