Sola Salon Studios — Local services in Fruit Cove

My issue is EXTREMELY POOR customer service. My father-in-law had an appointment for a "hot towel" shave and shampoo with Juriel (Suite 105) at 3pm on 1/31/17. We had tried to change it to 3:30pm, but Juriel was booked up from 3:30 to 9pm. With this in mind, we moved heaven and earth to keep the 3pm appointment. We arrived 15 minutes early, only to find out that Juriel was no longer working at his previous place of employment. He failed to mention that in his texts. In the process of finding out that Juriel had moved around the corner to Sola Salon (Fleming Island, FL), then reloading my father-in-law (84 years old and in a wheelchair) in and out of my vehicle, we made it a couple of minutes before 3pm. In order to avoid the my previous ordeal, I ran in to verify Jurial was in fact working here before unloading my father-in-law, yet again. I spoke to him and then ran back out to the car. It was 3:03 when I wheeled up to suite 105. As we wheeled up, Jurial was seating his 2:30 appointment who was over 30 minutes late. When I questioned Jurial about our 3pm appointment, he said he already had a 3pm appointment (???). I then showed him the series of texts confirming 3pm, as well as effort to change to 3:30 and then agreeing to keep the 3pm. I can understand appointments running late, but I cannot understand seating someone at 3:03 for a 2:30 appointment when your 3pm has already shown up. My father-in-law is very elderly and in hospice care. It was a HUGE effort to get him there. Jurial's supreme lack of consideration is absolutely inexcusable and reflects poorly on his character and on the reputation...

my sister in law and I had an appointment with Lindsey and she cancelled the day of our appointment and later on in the day will reach out for rescheduling. we had to drive pretty far to get to the salon but I understand things happen but when we texted her back to see if she has any recommendations to who else to see she never replied and never reached out to reschedule. very unprofessional and kinda sad because we were super excited since it was scheduled advanced. Went for a cut and color with Kristy. I was blown away. Did everything I asked for and more. Suite 114. She is the best, my hair came out awesome. She was professional and fun to chat with. Then while We were chatting we spoke about Beautiful one, who does botox among other awesome things for your face. Went back to the next day to suite 110. Very professional, smart, informative about the procedure. I cannot say enough nice things that have transpired on my face in the last several hours.
