Rating for Taco Bell, Fleming Island: āļø -20/5
Let me start by saying that if I could give negative stars, this Taco Bell would be no existing on the charts! It seems like every time I place an order, whether in person or through Uber Eats, I'm entering a culinary lottery. Spoiler alert: I always lose!
Ordering from this location has become an Olympic sport for me. If I don't physically walk in and order, there's about an 95% chance my meal will resemble a mystery box. They treat the orders like theyāre just tossing ingredients into a bag like itās a game of Taco Bell Bingo. Want some cinnamon twists? Good luck; they might just throw in a rogue napkin instead.
And let's talk about the drinks. Are they made by a sorcerer? Because they somehow manage to turn a simple Coke into a diet soda with extra pickles. Iām not even kidding! Iāve received more side dishes than I ordered like added lettuce and tomatoes, with no meats? Letās just say Iāve seen more accuracy in a toddlerās finger painting.
I applaud the high schoolers for getting a job and all, but if this is the level of pride they take in their work, then Iād rather eat cardboard. Seriously, Taco Bell of Fleming Island, youāve earned a resounding NEGATIVE 20 from me. Please, just read the order next time, GIVING ME ALL MY FOOD⦠my taste buds...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis location used to be great. Orders came out quick, I had plenty of time to swing by on my lunch break and get back to work as I work just around the corner and have just a half an hour break. There used to be a girl named Jocelyn at the counter who was always very friendly and polite. Now there is a grumpy lady who referred to herself as "just a peon." Also, they have this fancy newfangled technology that allows you to order online "to skip the line/wait," then get to the restaurant to be told they don't make your food until you get there because they have an issue with people not showing up. Nevermind the fact that they take 20 minutes to toss some stuff in a taco shell...what is the point of online ordering then? We literally sat there and watched them moving slow as molasses to put our food together. Oh you also get to pay extra for a side of sour cream and then not get it in your bag. Update tried the online order thing again, several months later. It went surprisingly smoothly this time. Order appears to be correct, girl at the window was friendly. I believe her name is Jocelyn? I've sens her several times and she is always the nicest person there. Give...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI really haven't had a bad personal experience with the staff here, always friendly, but sometimes inaccurate orders. The drive thru line is always long, extremely slow, etc. Made the mistake of going in to try to avoid this, just won't be visiting this location again. Mens bathroom door won't lock (broken handle), water pressure so weak it took a solid minute just to rinse the soap off my hands, toilet seat looks so old and crusty I wouldn't want to sit on it, both trash cans overfilled in the lobby, etc. Place looks newer generally but the bathroom needs a lot of work and the staff are clearly overwhelmed apparently at all times with the number of customers in the drive thru, which is always slow. More than once after waiting in the drive thru for ten minutes without any cars moving I bailed. Not mad, just really disappointed because the location otherwise...
