After recovering from a major surgery and over a year of recovery, I was so excited to go to bingo and get out of the house. I have met all my goals with home health after this past year. I have lived 65 years in Gadsden and served in many organizations including 1st Baptist Church, The Women's Club of Gadsden, and the Goodyear Women's Association. Unfortunately I am too old and severely hard of hearing for Parks and Recreation to allow me to attend senior activities at the Downtown Civic Center by myself. I hope one day everyone lives as long as I have and finds a more understanding place to go to enjoy the last days of their lives and find friendships with other lonely elderly people. I love living at my house in Gadsden but it would be nice if there was more things to do and places to go in...
