I booked an appointment with Eric at Compass Point Massage as a sort of emergency- I'm no newbie to migraines but I had one so bad that I thought I might actually cry! It'd been going on for a couple days with no relief and thank goodness Compass Point offers late appointments, because just when I couldn't stand it anymore I managed to get an appointment for after work using their easy-to-use online booking system. Wow. What a difference it made!! I ended up getting a 90 minute massage and it was SO worth it. Eric has a very intuitive touch for knowing what the tissue he's working on needs, so I don't think I had to tell him to adjust the pressure even once during our session which is pretty amazing. My back and neck are infamously tense and tight, but he was able to work through those nasty knots in my neck and shoulders and I felt my migraine ease while still on the massage table. By the time I was driving home my thinking had cleared and I felt probably 85% better! I continued to feel great thereafter so he really did a thorough job without going too deep and upsetting my muscles. As a bonus Eric was really nice to chat with, if you're like me and you enjoy occasional chatter during your massage :)

Followup/Retraction: I am absolutely elated to share my subsequent follow-up communication received from both Ron and Drew. Both Ron and Drew expressed their sincere apologies regarding my appointment "mix-up" . They also extended two discounted massage sessions as a gesture of good will. Not very often will a company take responsibility for it's actions or lack thereof. Both Ron and Drew have earned a customer for life... I was literally scheduled for a 430pm appointment with Drew(would've been my 3rd visit, but 1st time with Drew) and I was told @4:11pm the day of my appointment that it was filled. I have tried out many massage therapists over the last 10+ years. I used to drive to Orlando to get them because I thought they were all at a decent level, which I thought was great. Now I realize that there was something beyond that here. Today, I met with Theresa, and somehow, she took what I knew about massage therapy and brought me to a whole new level of understanding. I usually prefer to be quiet, but as she asked me questions about my lifestyle and body, she discovered where the pains were coming from and the connection they had to other parts of my body that ached. It became more of a collaboration of how we could find the root problem and fix it. She educated me on my muscles and explained why things were happening.
