Wow. I'm so happy and thankful that the owners of this coffee cafe have opened this business here in NW Gainesville. Their attention to detail and thoughtful offering of Mexican and Ecuadorian food and drink culture is a real treat. The interior has a clean, modern, and spacious look. But despite the clean lines and open space, it also enough sound deadening in the ceiling (it seems) to keep it from having a cacophony of overwhelming racket. (Such as that which we've experienced at other similar open concept cafes and restaurants.) I love that they offer corn and rice based foods as an alternative for those seeking to avoid wheat and gluten grains. And I'm blown away that they IMPORT their corn.. GRIND IT on site(!).. and EVEN NIXTAMALIZE IT there at the cafe! I mean.. who does that? That's remarkable. Mind blown... We'll be back again. Thank you Resident Coffee! We want you to be as successful as you can be here...

All the flavors went really well together - strawberries, mint leaf, blueberry syrup - even the candied pecans tasted great (and Iâm not normally a fan of pecans). I would definitely recommend this, and I canât wait to come back and try some other dishes; I had wanted to order the chorizo burrito but I was told it had sold out already that day - so you know itâs gotta be good, right!?
Really attentive and friendly staff as well. Itâs really spacious inside and a great place to gather with friends for brunch. Was very busy on a Sunday afternoon when we went. It does get sort of loud inside during peak busy hours so I guess keep that in mind if youâre looking for someplace quiet to...
