I highly recommend using The Plant Shoppe for all occasions, especially for wedding flowers! Betsy was a dream to work with. Finding a good florist for our wedding was definitely the hardest vendor for us to find. We emailed and called so many people and had such a nightmare trying to find somebody. We we on a budget, and needed our florist to help us figure out what would look good keeping that budget in mind. We had one florist tell us that she couldn't help us because we we weren't able to spend several thousand on flowers...WHAT?! Anyway, Betsy saved the day for us and from the first call we knew we had finally found the right person for the job. She was very quick and responsive to emails, was so friendly and easy to talk to (unlike a lot of florist we spoke with), and she completely understood our idea for the wedding and went with it without us having to draw out every detail for her. We gave her a color scheme and our vision and trusted her as a professional from there to put the rest in motion, and let me tell you what...she was 100% dead on and everything came out perfect! We got so many compliments on the flowers, from the bridal/ bridesmaid bouquets to the rose petals scattered in the aisle to our centerpieces (which were each individually designed). She made our fairy tale wedding really come to life, and we are so thankful we found her! If you are looking for a florist, you will not go wrong with Betsy at The Plant Shoppe, I promise you that!

Update! 2/14/24-We ordered a memorial dish garden for a friend/business associate who had just lost his son in a tragic accident. He returned to work and is pressing through. We wanted to express our condolences and appreciation to him and his family. Death doesn't care if it's Valentines Day or not! They came through even though they were super "Swamped"! Even adding the requested sunflower. Thanks again! This is the 2nd time I tried to order from a local florist in my neighborhood, 2nd time they couldn't fulfill, 2nd time they referred me to this shoppe and 2nd time I've been more than pleased! First time was a small daisy bouquet with a bear and balloon for a virtual baby shower for my 1st grandbaby. This time was a deluxe dish garden for a business associate who tragically lost her brother...not extravagant requests but very important nonetheless...I was told by the other shop that people don't like dish gardens and they don't take care of them so I should just order a bouquet of flowers instead....smh.

The recipient came into my office today and she was just thrilled and said, "I couldn't believe they were real plants!!! They were just gorgeous!" So guess what? We got married last month and we were blessed with a fairy tale wedding. Everything from the venue to the weather was perfect. But more importantly, we could have not done this without the relentless help, love, and dedication we received from the team of people who helped make our wedding day the best day of our lives.

Our wedding ceremony took place under the big oak tree at the Historic Thomas Center in Gainesville, FL. Betsy Gardner at the Plant Shoppe Florist customized our flowers as requested matching our wedding colors of navy blue and gold to beautiful hydrangeas, gardenias, delphiniums, and tulips. Our bouquets were gorgeous! Betsy and her team also hung lanterns from the oak tree and suggested hanging some of our reception bottles with lights in them from the branches, which added significantly to the overall romance of the decor. She made gorgeous gold leaf garlands for our cat stroller (our cats were the ring-bearers!) and for the tables at the reception. Betsy and her team came to the venue early and they not only set up the lanterns, bottles, and flowers, but they also helped our wedding planner decorate the tables at the reception.
